  1. So, I got myself a new computer, and after a year or so of not playing Skyrim, I decided to go back to it, and finally try to actually finish the game. I have tried to build a combination of mods, that are immersive, give new options to gameplay and enhance the visual aspect of it. Sadly, my setup causes constant CTD's, I have managed to go through Helgen and reach Riverwood, but aproaching Whiterun is as far as I can get. Seems to me that every time I approach Whiterun, where there are more things to be loaded game crashes. Also ocassionaly there are missing textures. Strange thing is, textures go missing, like showing purple or completely black patch instead of some clothing item, new NPC, or some building.. then when I quit and load the same save, the texture is there. I have tried having both default and STEP SkyrimPreferences.ini and Skyrim.ini settings, no difference whatsoever. I have tried disabling mods, or a bunch of them, but still nothing happens, or should I say same problems are occuring. I guess it is the combination of some mods that is causing the issue. Also, after I deactivated all Bijin mods (Warmaidens, Wives, NPC's) game would not even load, it would startm, show Skyrim logo and before even load, new game options show it would CTD. [ I am not saying that mod themselves are bad, but maybe they conflict with something. ] I decided to reinstall Skyrim, delete ModOrganizer and start from scratch. Alas at least week of downloading and twaking mods is ahead of me. Here is the old list of mods that I used: http://www.modwat.ch/u/TelcontarTargaryern some mods like Ultra HD, or Realistic are just combos of "Rustic Compilation" "Realistic retextures" or "Ultra HD" several mods by same authors that I put in same folder. These are mostly just textures and meshes, no ESP files. I want game to have better visuals, than default even with highres textures, but the visual aspect is second, the first one is having and immersive gameplay overhaul. So these are some of the mods that I plan on using. -Climates of Tamriel -Camping -Frostfall -Realistic Needs and Diseases -Trade and Barter -Immersive Weapons -Immersive Armors -Skyrim Redone (Only the part with standing stones and encounter zones) -Perkus Maximus A lot of UI tweaks, like SkyrimUI, OneTweak, Unread Books Glow, Glowing Ore Veins... I have in mods.txt list of all the mods that I tried using, with the first set-up that failed miserably. Also I DID use the memory extender patch for SKSE! Oh and I should also add that my computer specs are: i5-6600, AsusZ170-A, 8GB DDR4, GTX-660ti 2GB, Graphic card is 2.5 years old, everything else is brand new. Sorry for the long explanation, to make it clear, my question is to help me with advice which mods I should / could use, and which one I should skip, to build a working mod build.
