  1. Thanks for responding Mike. I *think* I might have found what was causing the issue. I had just gotten to Bitter Springs in game, and everytime I approached it I would either crash about 50 yards away from it, or if I made it to Bitter Springs the npc's had no sound, and other sounds were missing in that area as well. I went back to a vanilla location and the npc's sound, etc was working. So I deleted the Bitter Springs revisited mod, as well as all the other NPC mods I had installed. Went back to Bitter Springs, sound was working, and I haven't crashed since I deleted those mods in roughly 60-90 minutes of gameplay (which is huge after crashing every 2-3 minutes previously). Definitely not saying the NPC mods alone were causing my crashes, could have been a conflict with other mods, I'm thinking the Bounties mods & the NPC adding mods didn't get along, probably due to both adding additional NPC's to the world. So deleted both, and the world is definitely not as fun without the Bounties mods, but I can play now. I don't think it was Bounties alone causing my issues, as that is one of the top files on the nexus for Fallout NV and many people seem to have no issues with it. Thanks for the info on how to backup the folders to save mods if (when) I need to do a reinstall of this or other games.
  2. So in the last few days I started getting constant ctd's, every few minutes to the point where I can't play anymore. After looking at some other posts here I downloaded FNVEdit and followed gopher's video on youtube, created a merge patch following his instructions, ticked it in NMM and started the game. After about 2 minutes my game crashed again, and before it did I was having new issues with sound, like the radio was working and i could hear gunshots, but there was no sound for discovering a location and no sound when npc's were talking. This only happened after using FNVEdit. Then the crash. I had New Vegas Bounties I & II which I've seen can cause some conflicts, and I deleted those earlier today in an attempt to stop the constant ctd's, I ran FNVEdit after uninstalling those via NMM. Here's a list of my mods in the order they load. [x] FalloutNV.esm [x] DeadMoney.esm [x] HonestHearts.esm [x] OldWorldBlues.esm [x] LonesomeRoad.esm [x] GunRunnersArsenal.esm [x] ClassicPack.esm [x] MercenaryPack.esm [x] TribalPack.esm [x] CaravanPack.esm [x] NPC Project.esm [x] Project Nevada - Core.esm [x] Project Nevada - Equipment.esm [x] oHUD.esm [x] Project Nevada - Rebalance.esp [x] Project Nevada - Cyberware.esp [x] DarNifiedUINV.esp [x] The Mod Configuration Menu.esp [x] Bitter Springs Revisited.esp [x] NPC Project - Aerotech Office Park.esp [x] Project Nevada - Dead Money.esp [x] Project Nevada - Honest Hearts.esp [x] Project Nevada - Old World Blues.esp [x] Project Nevada - Lonesome Road.esp [x] Project Nevada - Gun Runners' Arsenal.esp [x] CONELRAD 640-1240.esp [x] ExtendedNVRadio.esp [ ] MojaveExtended20.esp [ ] MojaveExtended40.esp [ ] MojaveExtended60.esp [ ] MojaveExtended80.esp [x] MojaveExtended100.esp [x] EVE FNV - ALL DLC.esp [x] Project Nevada - EVE All DLC.esp [x] MTB.esp [x] 3rdPersonCameraFIX.esp [ ] EVE FNV - NO GRA.esp [ ] EVE FNV - NO DLC.esp [x] OldWorldRadio.esp [x] Companion Sandbox Mode3.esp [x] NPC Project - 188 Trading Post.esp [x] NPC Project - Freeside.esp [ ] Project Nevada - EVE No DLC.esp [ ] Project Nevada - EVE No GRA.esp [x] Merge Patch 2.esp <--- FNVEdit Merge Patch Think I might just need to uninstall and start over at this point.. So a I guess my question is, barring some miracle that will fix my current game, when I uninstall can i keep all the mods in NMM, just de-select them all, then reapply them once the game is reinstalled? Or is it just that my saves are corrupted somehow and I just need to start a new game instead of reinstalling? Thanks for any help.
  3. In response to post #10453267. #10453311, #10453529, #10453694 are all replies on the same post. I'm sure they'll try extra hard so poor wittle you doesn't have to wait a day or two to download mods with NMM. Or God forbid you actually spend five minutes looking into downloading and installing mods manually. It's fairly easy. And you'll accomplish more doing that than telling people already trying to fix a problem to fix the problem.
