  1. After fiddling around for an hour, I realized I couldn't do anything with the Bill of Sale for the Goldenglow Estate.. Made me think of this mod, and how much I want it! :D Owning meaderies, shops, farms, woodmills etc would be extatic!
  2. lol Wazpans.. If you're going to make and wear one of the sickest armors in the game, then put it on master :P
  3. Why not contact Bethesda about that? Since they are obviously full supporters of the modding scene. It would be more of a problem Oblivion was produced with other publishers and royalty owners then Skyrim, but to the best of my knowledge that's not the case.
  4. The start of the Mage's College in Skyrim is Genius! "Just cast this easy to get novice spell, And you're in!"... Or pay 30 bucks.... :/ Thieves guild is even worse :whistling:
  5. I didn't check out your Oblivion mod, so forgive me if it's already in there, but I had an idea: Being able to buy shops / stalls and generate a profit from them. Setting product prices higher and lower impacts the local economy.. Same for buying / subletting houses.. Basicly it's just the Fable 2 system :P
  6. Aii, wrong section dude.. Post this in the Mods Requests :)
  7. I was playing Skyrim at a friend's on a xbox.. He actually gets 2/3 pieces of text per load screen.. I was flabbergasted :P I think a timer you can set yourself and a buttonpress to skip would be the perfect mod! :)
  8. Hi all! I got a problem, wich is probably going to upset some people.. But, nonetheless, it's starting to get really annoying! The load screens are too short on my rig. I can't read a thing! The "slowes" load screen is when I load after just starting up the game.. Even then, I can't read half of the damn thing :( I'm not too bad at coding, but this goes above and beyond my knowledge.. Is there a way to make it so you have to press a button after a loading screen, or maybe put it on a timer? I feel like i'm missing out an a lot of hints and lore.. Thanks in advance if any body has an idea on this :) Greetings, Thomas
  9. As some might have already noticed: http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/472056-planned-travel-to-cyrodiil-mod/ This guy also wants to do something with other provinces.. As for Landmasses : http://ppsh-41.tumblr.com/post/13145143504/entire-tamriel-landmass-built-into-skyrim They are already in there! You could overhaul the assets that much so the copywrite infringement isnt applicable..
  10. i was just about to post this in the Mod Request forum :P It would be Awesome.. The holy grail of modding... I think creatin Tamriel itself with the creation kit shouldn't pose that much of a problem. It could even be done by automated sripts.. Once you get the world, that's where the hard work starts :) Indeed you'd have to write a Whole lot of lore.. After setting up a database of Tamriel Lore that is already in Skyrim, the writing can begin.. I'd start with a region near the skyrim border, it would just be wayy too much to try and do it all at once.. Maybe its a good idea to do think out some preliminary numbers: Regarding TES IV: How many locations are ther in Tamriel (per region) How many NPC's are there How many cities ( I should know, but I'm not sure of the top of my head) etc.. Regarding Cities: Obviously Kvaatch is going to be interesting, as well as the Imperial city.. If for some logical reason another city can be destroyed, work that in the Lore.. The basic layout should be the same; same streets, same monuments etc, with some logical changes a city in Tamriel would go through in 200 years.. From a gameplay standpoint, all cities need to be equiped with Forges and Mills, etc..
  11. Great mod idea! I for one, didn't like the start of the guild quests.. You're in the thieves guild 5 minutes after reaching Riften and a quick lockpicking tutorial, and to enter the Mages College you' either need a certain spell, or pay her 30 gold... The first thing that came to mind for this mod is: Start them somewhat in the style of Oblvion: For the thieves guild, you'll have to do some serious stealing, in multpile cities, and fence that stuff, before anyone will even talk to you.. For the Mages Guild; A bigger test, one that you can actually fail, just to set foot in the door. After that the player can be selected for the Juniot class, the advanced class, or get kicked out of the college... I'm not done playing through both these questlines, but I don't feel I do / did any work to join their factions.. I think that should be the overall theme of the mod; an initial amount of Work -> doing the stuff the guild does, but on your own, at your own chocie. After this the player could get more "linear" quests, and so on..
  12. Yup. me too!! Chrome, IE & Firefox... Please, fix it! :)
