  1. Quite dumb how much drama happens on this site, good mod authors getting banned etc. Do they even have chances to remove illegal content and then be on there merry way?
  2. Okay, so heres the deal. There is a doctor named Dr. Hernandez in this mod right here http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55089/? who resides at New Dayglow camp. My character arrived there addicted to drugs and hurt badly, in need of a doctor, and seeked to find one once he realized it was a followers of the apocolypse camp. However, it seems that the mod author did not make Dr. Hernandez an actual doctor, as in, he has NO doctor services at all. Could somebody please walk me through the steps i need to take to allow him to heal addictions, radiation, and health status? I have never ever used the GECK before, but i do know my way around TES5EDIT/FNVEDIT/FO3EDIT/TESEDIT. I tried copying all sorts of properties from doctors in the vanilla game in fnvedit to Dr. Hernandez, such as the doctor class, doctor dialogue, and even npc specific scripts. Nothing seems to be working. Can somebody please give me some helpful advice here? Maybe download the mod, find the Dr. Hernandez entry and tell me what i need to do to it to actually make him a functional doctor? Help would be GREATLY appreciated, as i don't really feel comfortable continuing my save game until i can get this fixed. I'm willing to use the GECK if its what i must use, and can't use fnvedit to make the changes, as long as somebody tells me what i need to do in it, and how.. Or someone could upload a modified version of the mod privately with the modified Dr. Hernandez and send it to me? Either way. Thanks. P.S. i do run project nevada, don't know if it makes a difference.

  4. Well i just ended up going to a different doctor, and she was able to cure it. Maybe i'll mess around with fnvedit and try to see if i can fix that guy (Dr.Kemp) to let him cure addictions etc. And, oh really? Well i guess its time to use Mil's big weapon pack and ditch all the individual plugins. Can having too many plugins mess up a savegame? Aka am i already screwed or can i fix it?
  5. Ah, okay, it turns out it was my Bashed Patch that was causing it, i fixed that now. But...WHY WON'T THE DOC CURE MY ADDICTION?!?! this has happened before and its extremely annoying, but before he eventually got it cured and i just gave myself the caps that i wasted in the console, but this time theres no way hes curing it....How do i fix this :(((((

So i went to see the doctor in camp mccarren, to cure my addiction (i THINK its a steady addiction but i'm not sure), he took my caps, and then i realized he didnt actually cure it. and he took my caps again, and again, and again, still didn't cure it. So i decided to check my pipboy to see which addiction it is so i could maybe cure it with a console command, and i noticed something very disturbing, i can't see any status effects whatsoever! not from my addiction, not from my equipment...so i figured, maybe this save game is bugged. well, i wen't back dozens and dozens of hours, and nope, i couldnt see my status effects in that savegame either! I have no freakin clue what could be causing this, there is nothing at all that i could have changed in my mods to make this happen...has this happened to anyone else? What could have caused it? How do i fix this?   7. Is this anything i should worry about in regards to mods doing funny things with my game though? Cause everyone has seen mammoths spawning in the sky at a distance, even in vanilla. Never in my years would i have thought this could happen though!
  8. Yeah, you guys have all heard about flying mammoths before, but get a load of this. Loaded a savegame from just after i killed the dragon at kynesgrove, when suddenly, 5 or so dead mammoths just fell from the f***ing sky right in front of me and piled on top of eachother. WTF BETHESDA?!?!?!
  9. Adept is the most balanced, use mods for real challenges, not just "click this and enemies take longer to kill" lol

  12. ^ still isnt perfect. Take Chivalry: Medieval Warfare...now THAT'S a perfect "medieval" combat system that i think would work well in skyrim. If someone could try to capture that in a mod...oh man.

What really needs to be made is a SkyProc patcher that automatically takes all your weapons, scans the meshes, and assigns custom length and speed values (based on weight?) to make combat more diverse and really give weapons a more unique feel and use. Of course, the length values would be based on the length of the mesh. Speed based on weight.

Weird about riverwood though, i dont seem to get any problem like that around there, but who knows, i may eventually. I'm only level 6 at the moment. My guess about your freezes around riverwood - theres some mod, or some combination of mods whos scripts are just entirely bugging out and causing that massive freeze...could be SkyTEST...could be some random MCM mod... i dunno. Whats your processor?
  15. Ah thanks...so i don't have a leveled npc's entry, is that alright? Also i have a weapons entry, and i use skyre...should i still include that? I see on some weapons, in the merged patch its giving it two material entries i.e. the nightingale bow has the material ebony, AND daedric...daedric being from the update.esm/dlc/unofficial patches (i forget which one) and ebony being from skyre...in skyre it doesnt list the bow as having the material daedric. is any of this stuff i need to worry about?
