  1. What I have to say on this... The game is for adults or at least matured people over the age of 18. If you can't take a simple compliment from an in-game character then I shudder to think how this would really go in real life. But yeah that's just my opinion.
  2. I'm currently on 80 hours played and I just finished the main quest with my level 38 Khajit rogue/warrior/sneak thief/cut-throat I have a level 6 two handed Nord Warrior and a level 15 Destuction mage on the way. This game has taken faaaaar too much of my time over the last week! Also I accidentally had the game on Master the whole time... only figured it out by level 20 and damn was the game a lot more friendly after I moved it down to Expert... especially since I wasn't really a crafter and didn't have the best armors/weapons early on.
  3. There are a few things that have made me laugh. One of them being facial textures not loading properly... only seen this once. http://i.imgur.com/GPfCP.jpg http://i.imgur.com/JG65C.jpg However a bug that had me almost falling over in laughter was when I killed a dragon and the skeleton left behind magically teleported into town, on-top of a house, then proceeded to slide down and get snagged on a patrolling guard. The skeleton then moved with the guard as he walked around town, eventually getting stuck between him and a building he walked past, the game proceeded to crash. XD http://i.imgur.com/0hf8q.jpg And finally, after killing a witch her body started to hover once I looted her head... this one was really creepy. http://i.imgur.com/N2vZw.jpg http://i.imgur.com/LjeSd.jpg
  4. The next character I create will be a pure caster, I think all these bits of info are really going to help him! But for now I think I should actually look at finishing the game with at least one of my two characters >.<;
  5. The game looks like crap? Are we even playing the same Skyrim?? I have a Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM and an Ati 4870HD... my surprise when the game was only 6GB in size and ran on high settings with minimal lag. For me this game is amazing in many ways.
  6. Indeed they do die, if rather rarely. I've only had my housecarl come near to death once as the enemy usually leaves her alone and attacks me once she is badly injured and staggered on the ground. I would like to see commands implemented that followers can abide by, would be quite helpful. Especially in situations where you want to be stealthy, but in-case you are spotted you have backup. (Followers are always so noisy when sneaking!) For now I just make them wait in place until I've stealthily cleared the enemies up ahead, and if things go wrong I retreat back to her position so that we can fight together.
  7. For my first character I've actually taken the stealthy approach, one handed, archery and sneak with some points in light armor. What I should probably do is make more poisons as I rarely use them. Also my love for axes has kinda ruined the stabby stealth daggar approach however it has made me stronger against multiple targets in combat as war axes do a fair amount of damage and bleeding. I will be working my way up to the ability which allows me to disappear from detection upon crouching. Whirlwind is a good escape tool. Also I just started leveling a 2H weapon warrior with heavy armor and smithing. I must say, I've had a much easier time with him. Also remember the whirlwind shout negates the need to take damage before hitting your enemy, pretty much instantly blasting you into his face. (It has a fast CD so you can easily switch to unrelenting shout once you've jumped for example)
