http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/9875/alagaesia.png Alagaësia Modification Project Since the release of the last Eragon book, I'm again infected with the fascination of this great story. While I was playing the quest when you fly with that dragon to the gate of Sovngarde, I instantly thought of the moment when Eragon was flying for the first time on Saphira. In this moment I decided to start this project. I asked some of my friends and all of them would play a mod like this. But all of them also said that it's too much work to bring the world of Eragon in Skyrim. I'm waiting for the Creation Kit to see what options it will give us to make this mod real. My first thoughts The first thought was making it possible to ride dragons. I think it's not necessary to work here much because there will be for sure soon a lot of mods making it possible. Magic is in the world of Alagaësia something really special. To perform magic you have to speak. I want to change all shouts into "normal" magic. So you can use a sword and shield and still heal yourself or use "Brisingr" like you use a shout in skyrim. And finally of course the whole map of Alagaësia. This will be the most work for sure. I have a lot experience in mapping for games based on Source Engine. I just took a short look at Construction Set for Oblivion. I'm already sure that I want to work mainly at the map. 1.
