I was wondering if someone could make an outfit similar to Jack Nicholson/Jack Torrence in Stanley Kubricks the Shining? The red corduroy jacket, plaid shirt and jeans. Then I thought it would be cool if The Sierra Madre had a radio station or at least the lounge there had Midnight, The Stars and you playing like the song from the Shining. The Sierra Madre gives me The Overlook hotel vibes. I wanted to enhance my play experience. Thankfully knock knock the unique Fireaxe already exists. So using that in the sierra madre is no problem.

There are a few mods with Colonel Eden's coat being colored black. But they no longer seem to work. Anyone want to make a new one?

Hello Nexus :) With Halloween approaching, I was thinking it would be cool if there was a mod that tweaked the axe in point lookout to look like the fireaxe from the shining, And maybe tweaking an outfit to look like Jack Nicholsons iconic Red Corduroy jacket, and jeans and plaid shirt from the shining. Then having a radio song added. Midnight the stars and you from the kubrick movie.

Hi there, and thanks for responding to me. I did not save the game when testing the mods until near the end. So I started the game up and didnt start a new game until I the guy in the video did so basically after most of the visual mods and the enb. I had a save file that was still there and it was fresh out of doc mitchells house and I loaded it to see if the enb worked. It did so I left then went back to downloading more mods. I then went to create the new game and tried saving after I left doc mitchells and entered the saloon but I couldnt save and there was no auto save. It doesnt auto save if I walk into a building or anything. I went to my saves folder in C:\Users\myname\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV\Saves and the permissions are all checkmarked. In fact even FalloutNV folder and MyGames folder are checkmarked. In all three profiles too and that means administrative. Im using windows 10 not vista. What would u say the next step would be?

I just wiped my memory on my pc and decided to just run new vegas with mods on it since I dont game that much anymore, and that is the only game I feel that would be great to pick up and play any time. I installed the game and followed this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpynocVIcCU&t=39s <- this is part 1 of 8 or 9 I believe. I watched them all so I could mod it. I kept downloading the mods the guy did then loading new vegas so the mods properly loaded. It seemed fine until I got to what I thought was the final step where I was downloading clothing mods or added weapons. I started the game and I realised I cant save. Im using MO2 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6194 as my mod manager there are no load options if I save or no record of me doing so at all. So basically the only way I could play it is if I kept it on 24/7

Hi all. I reinstalled vegas and followed this guide with mods and downloaded LOOT. Everything is working perfectly except I cant get Character overhaul to work. The mods appear in Mod Manager fine with no red. However when I load it, the characters appear as red triangles with an exclaimation point. I have never had issues with this mod before. I have user interface organizer installed, and I did archive invalidation uncheck and check and still nothing. I am trying to upload a printscreen image of my load list from nmm I dont have LOOT downloaded. For some reason the only images I can post are from a URL Link or from " My Media" and I cant upload anything to my media. Can I send them to you via email?? Sorry I am not very tech savvy and would like to thank you for your help in advance.

Sorry I am new to the forums and usually just on nexus for mods. Usually dont have issues with them. pc brand is asustek abd model rog gr6. It is a desktop, not a laptop. intel® core i5-5200u cpu 2.20 ghz. its a 64-bit operating system this is all I could find out on the pc itself. I have 29.1gb free on my windows c and 394gb free on my data folder. I have new vegas installed in my data folder as that has more space and I usually have online multiplayers in my c folder. I have windows 8 installed. New vegas is downloaded from steam but I use the NVSE loader to start the game. I started a new game as in I created a new character from the start menu. I didnt reinstall it or anything. I still have the save file from my old character available he is in the Sierra Madre. I have downloaded a few new mods since then But they were just Indigo radio, New vegas uncut outside bets and electro city. Nothing is red in my load load order list (except fallout character overhaul russell, but that isnt checked off in my plugins and It wouldnt load the game if it was) hope this is enough information to start

Hi all, I have an old file on new vegas that works perfectly fine with all the same mods. I started up a new game and have had nothing but issues. After editing my stats and adding a bunch of weapons and stuff into my inventory and saving and doing some quests my save files all disappeared. My game crashes also occasionally which was rare before. The irony is fallout 3 is working better than new vegas, which has never been the case for me. I am thinking of deleting all my mods and reinstalling new vegas and the mods. Would this fix the problem?

I just started a new character and Noticed a glitch that has never appeared before. My characters hands are either stubs, too large, or the fingers are missing. Im not sure if its because I had to disable and enable the pipboy 2500 from starting the new game or not. It shouldnt as I did that on my old file with no issues. Ill Post my load list later as Im typing this on my mobile phone and its 4am lol. Just curious if this has happened to anyone else or not and if there is a way to fix it

Ok this is even stranger. I activated the mod to take a picture of the error message to upload to this post and the mod actually works now!

Hi there. I just downloaded Fallout 3 after playing new vegas for months and months. I downloaded a ton of mods for F3, with two I know that I need FOSE to work. One of the mods is a weapon modification mod that adds laser sights ect.. That one works fine all I need to do is use the FOSE loader instead of using steam to play F3 otherwise a message pops up telling me I need to use FOSE.. anyways I have the Pipboy 2500 mod for Vegas and it works great! Fallout 3 on the other hand not so much. I activate the mod with NMM and play the game (outside vault) and the pipboy actually shows up. The 3000 is off ny wrist and the 2500 is in my players hand. If I hit tab it will open up fine and I can access the options and go through my inventory and map. However! a message keeps popping up saying: error! this mod requires FOSE to run, do not save game. if I click ok it keeps popping up till I deactivate the mod. Obviously I have FOSE otherwise my weapon modification mod wouldnt work either. So I am wondering what I am doing wrong? I noticed on the mods page there are 3 individuals that posted the same problem in the past 5 years and nobody addressed the issue. What do I do?

I have been in 2 college films and the rest has been directing and stage acting. I am able to do a gruff voice as well as speak like an old time radio dj from the 40s. Hey everybody! Before I troubleshoot, wanted to point out- I am new to the pc gaming community and have been independent in learning everything until up to this point, so please be patient if I am unfamiliar! I have downloaded and been using the nexus mod manager for two weeks. Modding new vegas and oblivion and everything has been fine! All my games have been downloaded on steam, except for fallout 4. I bought the copy myself new. All my mods show they are launched but certain texture mods and whatnot are not showing up in the other side bar that shows all the running mods. For example, the working mods for F4 I have: Rebuilt Croup Manor Ballistic weave to all clothes But anything like rexturing power armor, my pip boy, or adding in new clothes like the ncr riot gear or black combat armor dont work. When I click the green arrow to launch the mod it will show its launched since the only option left is to disable it. I really dont want to uninstall my game and lose my progress as a character as I am still enjoying the experience with or without mods. I am currentlt typing this on my phone and will be back to my PC tomorrow to take pictures of my nexus manager mod list to show whats running. Cheers
