Hello, everyone knows the starting quest where you go kill giant geckos at wells with the Sunny Smiles girl, when I approach the "combat area" of the first well, my game immediately freezes "almost completely" there is still the normal background ambience sound, but if i click anything, any key, any mouse click, alt tab at all, it will go to "not responding" in task manager, and then be unreachable, ive even waited for 15 minutes when it first freezes without touching a single thing, waiting for it to unfreeze, and it will not unfreeze. Ok so, let me get to the point, since I am extremely annoyed now that i spent a good 30 minutes previously writing a VERY detailed post but when I clicked submit, my net screwed up and that entire post is gone now, so anyways. Was playing Oblivion, I was in an Inn, and all of a sudden a sound file played, sounded like multiple voices at once saying the same thing, and it was the same voice, saying "Stop, somebody help, weve got a thief" or something like that, and as soon as the word "thief" finished playing, my oblivion stopped working, I have a metric frackton of mods (don't judge me for it. mods are fun.) Someone who is experienced with oblivion modding, and is a fellow modaholic, can you please assist me in making this issue go away?
