  1. ill make this short, this post is yet another CTD problem, to be specific its about the memory blocks. im running around 200+ mods on my game, and as expected im experiencing a lot of CTD's. probably because my skyrim memory consumption is getting past 900mb, it probably peaks at 1gb before it crashes. (im using windows task manager to determine my skyrim memory consumption). im pretty sure its not navmesh or bad scripts or bad mod causing those CTD since i updated my mods and reviewed player feedbacks before installing them. soo ... i think the memory patch from SKSE takes care of memory problem with a heavily modded skyrim, but what if im running past the allocated memory ? i have 1 gb vga memory and 8 gb ram on my pc. is it possible for skyrim to utilize that 8gb ram on my pc. or is the skyrim engine limited to only 1 gb memory ? i tried to edit the default skse ini's but it didnt change a thing DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=2048 ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 i've tried reading guides scattered all over google, but most of them are outdated. so i ended up in here. hope somebody helps and thanks in advance
  2. good day , heres some update, i managed to lessen ctd triggers via disabling a couple of mods i have (amidianborn landscapes and some others)to lessen the burder on my gpu. i reconfigured memory setting and patched up / rebuild dual sheathe , fnis , bash path and many others i forgot already , wait ill re check ... so here, i used : ordernator (optimizer, its a file compressing app i got from nexus i think) i followed ugrid solution along with ugridstoload mod , safe load etc (i grabbed all tools i came across, and put those configurations in game folder or wherever the authors instructed me to put those files) also added those enb configurations, thanks to that link again quinn so i went on and test the stability of the game... i was able to play a few hours in the game without ctd, but my fps dropped by 5-10 i dont know what cause it anymore since i lost track of which and where i put those files but i will keep optimizing my game, im thinking of reinstalling the game to refresh its directory and might as well go though the details of those mods and optimization guides when i got the time. again thanks a lot tony for the guidance, cheers
  3. thank you very much for the quick response quinn. and yes going back and re reading all the details for those mods is the last thing i want to do it really looks overwhelming for 180+ mods  but i did went and re checked the page for some of my mods, which i believe was causing my crashes, like the complex ones. (civil war over haul, flora overhauls, static mesh etc) and i've seen that guide before, in fact, thats the one i watched when i was trying to learn how to use tes5edit so i believe i cleaned up dirty plugins corrects if not completely. the skeleton, im sure i messed it up somewhere, ive been experimenting on it a lot trying to get some animation work together (dual sheath + yyanim mystic knight with fnis xpsme...), but i made then work well in game, will re check them again. and about crash fix , i cant seem to get one of its prerequisite, the enbdev one im getting this kind of page when i check the link, i dont see any hyperlinks or tabs leading to download ( except for that advert which i disabled in this SS ) but i think theres a solution to that... says on page that it has to be installed via instructions... ok will , do but for now ,ill call it a day. ill check it out tommorow along with step guide. ill be providing feedbacks on this thread when im done, thanks again quinn
  4. Hi skyrim nexus community, first of all i would like to thank all the mod providers for their awesome works and for sharing it with us. Its a whole new kind of gaming experience to be able to remodel a game to your preference. ok so first, introduction ive played skyrim back in 2014, i tried a few mods back then but not as much as i have now, i stopped playing it for a year and now that i bought a more capable pc, i decided to play skyrim again. so, all these mods thats been stockpiled over the years, i decided to cram mod them all to my game, which i have 186 mods running as of now. and about the way how i installed these mods, i was not smart on the way i installed these mods but i was fast :P i check the mod page , read a couples of line in the introduction, installation, compatibility.. etc. i didnt bother checking the feedbacks for most of my mods. so after i check the mod page, i download it. run the game with the new mod check for errors or unwanted behaviors for a few mins then go back to step 1 for the next mod. sometimes i download multiple and check them all together in 1 go. i browse and gathered as many mods i want to add to the game and then i decided "i had enough" , so, i browsed for tools to help me get these mods get running smoothly. LOOT, tes5edit, and wrye bash. i made my first character as my guinea pig so it ended up getting corrupted, its okay i decided to star all over again to experience these new mods back to beginning. so after running loot, cleaning recommended files with tes5edit, setting a new bashed patch, i did a final check if the game is still running stable with all these mods and then im off to start a new char. now that im playing my new char, im experiencing a lot of crashes, most of them are triggered when i step into a certain locations, sometime when im getting inside/outside a house specially heartfire manors, not that im new to ctd with heartfire manors , they've been happening a lot before i even modded the game. some CTD triggers when the game is loading a random encounter, like im wandering in the wood and i see a group of bandits/ npc's in a certain spot, and when i approach them the game ctd's. so i tried looking for a solution to these problems , i had safeload, ugrids to load, memory patch and monitored memoryblocks log. these helped lessen ctd triggers but it did not eliminate all of them. so ive gotten desperate, i dont know anymore if its my system being unable to cope up with the game or the games gotten too unstable to play. so maybe its time to try consulting the forums, add to the stockpiled queries of fellow players and hope the heavens will send down a kind hearted individual:P if someone happens to have the time to educate me and help me out in my problem, id be very thankful. so lets get to my pc specs , im using a dual core 3.2 Ghz processor, have 8 Gb memory and a gtx 650 Ti graphics w/ 1gb memory but it says in Dxdiag that i have around 4 gb approximate memory in display, probably from the integrated display from the processor but i know it doest work with a graphic card installed. i dont know. so i believe my specifications pass the recommended SR for skyrim. im using a few mods that puts a heavy toll on my GPU but im running an average 35-40 fps in game while roaming open fields. heres my complete list of mod (via nmm): my skyrimprefs located at the documents game folder if this would help solve some issues : my last memory block log : logging of blocks enabled logging max values only Timer disabled Block1 Block2 512MB 256MB ........ ..... .. last three value indicated: 254 141 255 141 271 141 i can provide more data if asked, a little help here would be greatly appreciated, more power to the gaming community and i hope my issue gets resolved soon :-)
  5. i just used Ordenador a while ago and i the also froze on me so i had to force shut it down, as you have said it was still left running on back ground. so i tried logging off and run it again for the third time. and heres what i observed. files that was compressed via my first run was still there ( filed undergone compression and have their size reduced ), im not sure how it works but i guess compressed files were like copies made, and then after the compressing all those files, it will overwrite the original files with compressed ones. if a file gets corrupted, i expect well be seeing broken textures in game or worse ctd's :P so far i havent got any error
  6. i also would like to thank those people who shared their mods and contributed to this community, specially those who spent a lot of their time to provide solutions to ctd issues, to those who developed optimization tools and shared their knowledge and guide, and those who provided us with high quality retextures so that we can have a whole new experience in playing skyrim
  7. hey ! this is a two years old unanswered post but i just want to answer it for somebody else whos having the same problem. but first i just wanna say that i didnt read all of your message , its 4 am in my place already and im too lazy to do so so anyway... i was also having problem with getting yyanim replacer mystic knight and dual sheath redux together. ( the one hand anim from mystic knight looks really cool and i want it to work with a shield on back and dagger on hip, soo... i also went into an antagonizing problem solving for these mods to work together perfectly.) so what i did was , i installed them in this order ragdolls and force > fnis > xpsme > dual sheath > yy anim > fnis and dsr patch. if you have the immersive animation dont use it , i believe it breakes the skeleton files of xpsme and causes your left hand equipment to go below foot well i hope this helps and i recalled it right. its 4 in the damn morning so im off (ps. forgive my english , im not a native speaker )
  8. im picturing my follower Lisette which i dragged from some inn thanks to some mod ( cant remember which ), singing w/ maluka's voice ( maluka age of oppression/the dragon born come/etc..) during an epic battle with a dragon on during one of those civil war skirmish :P
  9. ive tried searching available mods and i cant seem to find a specific type of a follower i wanted im looking for a female bard follower, which behaves like a regular follower but instead of joining the fight during combat she plays song or instruments
