Are you sure you "applied" the scaling in NifScope after modifying the value?

Hi, do anyone know of a way to detect if the player jumps by using papyus? I have tried OnAnimationEvent as well as IsPlayerActionActive without any succes.

Hi, I'm currently trying to get Porroones script from page 1 to work. I have put it on a ring. But when I equip that ring and run, nothing happens? I was thinking about something, we do not have keypress, but we have onAnimationEvent. What if we search for animation events, I.E "ActionJump" or "JumpStandingStart", and as soon as that is registered, interrupt that animation and do something else?

Hello there everyone! Just wanted to advertise here a little bit for the mod Ashandarei that I released a while ago. The name might ring a bell for some people, because it is the name of Mat's legendary weapon from The Wheel of Time series, written by Robert Jordan. I recently updated the shape of the mesh as well as all textures :) If someone knows about a release or work in progress mod for polearm- or quarterstaff-animations, please let me know :) The animations are currently set to 2HandedAxe. It works, but implementation of proper fighting animation for polearms or quarterstaffs would be awesome. I'm not skilled enough to create those myself though :/ Anyway, enjoy the mod! http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/images/11331-2-1330565304.jpg

This may be the case for save game CTDs for me, doesn't loading a saved game without mods and then saving clean that save game from mods? What about the "stuck at loading screen" thing then? It wasn't limited to loading saved games in my case, but also happened when I tried to start a new one.
-
I had similar problems yesterday, some mods causes this and some just makes Skyrim CTD instead of getting stuck at the loading screen. I haven't been able to pinpoint the exact mods though. But you are not alone with this problem. Do Skyrim create a crashlog on CTD?

Is it possible to clean a Skyrim mod yet?

Thank you very much for this! I too have been looking for a way to clean my mods :) -

This is a good post: http://www.councilofelrond.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Crafts&file=index&req=viewarticle&cartid=388 At the end of the post you can read: I don't think I'm in a position to make demands here, feel free to do whatever you like :) I did find a couple of pictures though, maybe they're good for inspiration :) http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm/ID/542336 http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3003/2524989930_a5eea18df6.jpg?v=0

This really got my inspiration flowing! I want to start working on some beautiful house/mansion/castle mods right away :D I haven't modded since Morrowind so I guess I have some catching up to do, which makes me a little bit scared. I don't have as much free time (the same priorities) now a days as I once had, several years ago when I could spend an entire weekend reading about the development of MEmod ^^ I hope to get back in to modding again, and this really made me more eager than ever!

No, I cheated from 04 till 09. I just downloaded a few mods back then and never got to the forums. Just the last 2-3 years I have been around frequently. Just nice to see other people stick around :). I see :) I have been cheating since... 06 maybe :P

:) I don't remember you from back in 2004-2005, were you active back then?

I just want to thank you Dark0ne and all you hard working administrators and moderators for this great site. It is a real pleasure to log on here everyday. Your zero tolerance on trolling, bad behaviour and general immaturity is what makes you stand out from every other community out there. I wish other places would follow in your footsteps and help put an end to the childish behaviour people on the internet are so well known for. "If you think it would be inappropriate to say it in real life, don't say it on the net" Thank you very much for everything you do to make this community the best one ever. Cheers! /Gabriel

I was actually going to post a question about this too :) It would be great if all of us old lurkers could be able to find each other through the "join date" sorting function in the members search.

Welcome amity! I remember the old times many years ago when every new post here on the Newbies section was a big thing! I don't keep track of it anymore, but I did this time! So again: Welcome to the forums :D

Lets tone down the critisism towards the OP here shall we? He/She asked an honest question, politely. Some of the replies here are very unpolite and directly targeted towards the OPs decision to post a question here. This behaviour doesn't feel apropriate at all. The things I enjoyed most about Skyrim ( I haven't played much though): * The dirty world * Dual wielding * Mudcrabs * The northern shores The things I didn't enjoy:

I have now tried to update my drivers, change the settings and reinstall the game. It actually helped with one problem not mentioned here that I also had: Getting sparkling white specular pixels around objects (most noticable on trees and plants). But it didn't help with this threads mentioned problem.

I have the exact same problem with my 2 ATI Radeon HD 4870 crossfire setup. Anyone found any solutions yet?

Real world smith Pavel Moc's (http://www.swords.cz/enindex.html) "Embleton Style" now featured in Skyrim! I haven't uploaded it as a mod yet though since I can't seem to get tessnip to work as I want it to. And I don't want this to be a simple replacer sword.

maybe not the latest, will check it out later, thanks :)
