  1. I'm getting this exact same s#*! in embershard mine
  2. "Run for you lives" is currently causing save corruption and CTDs I see you have some other contributors in there as well I wish people would f*#@ing learn how to script before publishing their s#*! or at least TEST it ( with debug logging enabled ) -.-
  3. everyone who says papyrus logs are not for troubleshooting are so full of it lol here, I'll make it easy for you all: do a ctrl+f on this page and search for "does not exist" there are your problems. you're welcome.
  4. I am currently experiencing a CTD some time after entering the helgen keep ( in the opening of the game ). After the crash, I am unable to load that save. When I try it just crashes to desktop each time. This happened on a completely clean/fresh install of skyrim and no previous nmm skyrim files. No direct modifications to .ini files. I used nvidia inspector to set max pre-rendered frames to 1 and force vsync off and set frame limiter to 60 fps. I am not using any enb or reshade I am not using any modified dll's I am not using skse I am running at 4k res I am on windows 8.1 I have nvidia driver version 391.01 I have 16GB ram I have a titan x gpu I am running the latest version of NMM and using LOOT to sort my load order I have the following mod's installed: 60 fps interface a quality world map - 9.0.1 - vivid with stone roads axes chop wood beehives 4k blowing in the wind book covers skyrim desaturated caves 4k - 1st option 4k dawnguard delayed - level 50 dawnguard delayed - no vampire attacks in towns disable cinematic kills dust effects by hhaleyy enhanced blood textures faster skill leveling 2017 firewood weight reduction fluffy snow 2k footprints 1.5.3 forgotten retex project get on with it - no more waiting for doors glacier 4k hd road signs 4k high poly project illy's immersive fire sounds improved closefaced helmets improved weapon impact EFFECTS correct metal instant mining js dragon claws 4k lighter pickaxes and woodcutter axes morrowind style soulgems no bethesda intro no magic ninja ai dodge realistic conversations realistic ragdolls and force realistic water two realistic water two LOD fix rebalanced leveled lists relighting skyrim rich merchants rs children overhaul run and walk at your pace run for your lives skyrim 2017 textures 4k bridges skyrim 2017 textures 4k farmhouse skyrim 2017 textures 4k high hrothgar skyrim 2017 textures 4k landscape with FIX skyrim 2017 textures 4k mountains skyrim 2017 textures 4k roads 1.1 skyrim 3d trees 3.03 skysight skins - ultra hd male textures and real feet meshes 4k spectacular night eye se static mesh improvement mod (full) unofficial skyrim special edition patch water's edge fix - vanilla weather Below is the full contents of one of the crash reports ( they all look pretty much the same ) Version=1 EventType=BEX64 EventTime=131645141233077061 ReportType=2 Consent=1 UploadTime=131645141240963475 ReportIdentifier=35410a54-1e82-11e8-8277-08626681879b IntegratorReportIdentifier=35410a53-1e82-11e8-8277-08626681879b NsAppName=SkyrimSE.exe Response.BucketId=f1d5a01cdfdd24b16b31d1845d0383b8 Response.BucketTable=5 Response.LegacyBucketId=1959577679309276088 Response.type=4 Sig[0].Name=Application Name Sig[0].Value=SkyrimSE.exe Sig[1].Name=Application Version Sig[1].Value=1.0.0.0 Sig[2].Name=Application Timestamp Sig[2].Value=5a0db71d Sig[3].Name=Fault Module Name Sig[3].Value=ucrtbase.DLL Sig[4].Name=Fault Module Version Sig[4].Value=10.0.10586.1171 Sig[5].Name=Fault Module Timestamp Sig[5].Value=59ae5010 Sig[6].Name=Exception Offset Sig[6].Value=00000000000685f8 Sig[7].Name=Exception Code Sig[7].Value=c0000409 Sig[8].Name=Exception Data Sig[8].Value=0000000000000005 DynamicSig[1].Name=OS Version DynamicSig[1].Value=6.3.9600.2.0.0.256.48 DynamicSig[2].Name=Locale ID DynamicSig[2].Value=1033 DynamicSig[22].Name=Additional Information 1 DynamicSig[22].Value=691c DynamicSig[23].Name=Additional Information 2 DynamicSig[23].Value=691c10edbb84f119c6bd456b4183ceeb DynamicSig[24].Name=Additional Information 3 DynamicSig[24].Value=b8a0 DynamicSig[25].Name=Additional Information 4 DynamicSig[25].Value=b8a00107d3641b572b73384abf582b8c UI[2]=C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\SkyrimSE.exe UI[3]=Skyrim has stopped working UI[4]=Windows can check online for a solution to the problem. ApplicationIdentity=1139B1FAA9AEC548C9E716487C6E6FBE STEPS TAKEN TO ATTEMPT TO RESOLVE ISSUE: I have tried disabling my mod's, one-by-one, and loading the same save each time until all of the mod's were disabled and I still was crashing while trying to load the save. I also tried disabling DEP, but still crashes. I also tried loading an earlier save ( I hit f5 to save before character creation; so I tried loading that save ), but it just sits at the loading screen forever and never loads the game. *Correction* if you actually wait long enough the game will just exit to desktop, from here, without any error message. On a whim I tried starting up a new game and saving and then loading the save before my game crashed to see if I could load *any* save, but I just experience the same behavior as above. I tried disabling all custom nvidia inspector and nvidia control panel settings for skyrimse, but that didn't work either. Turned on papyrus logging and looked at all 4 of the logs it created after the game failed to load and exited... they all have similar messages regarding 3 mod's in particular: dawnguard delayed, dust effects, run for your lives - will test and see if these are the only culprits... although this did clear up a bunch of errors and warnings in papyrus, I am still experiencing crashes to desktop in the helgen attack opening sequence (at various points) I also tried running sseedit and cleaning all dirty mod's and starting a new game, but still crashed in same spot FINALLY narrowed it down to one of these four mod's (that is causing the CTDs): get on with it axes chop wood blowing in the wind improved closefaced helmets will continue testing until I find which one
  5. any luck with further progress on this?? I am VERY interested I am trying to do something quite similar. This thread has already helped a lot **UPDATE** I've done it! I made the mod that bypasses the stupid lockpicking mini game and just unlocks things if you have high enough skill! https://mods.bethesda.net/#en/workshop/fallout4/mod-detail/2606638
  6. Ugh. You don't understand enthusiast. It's not that you're cheating. It's that it would turn unlocking things into a simple skill check onactivate() rather than popping a screen for a f***ing mini game... I had a thought which would help me if I could find a particular script. If I can just find the papyrus script that fires whenever you interact with a locked object, there should be code in there to auto unlock whatever it is if you have the key for it. I can just borrow that portion of the code and wrap it with a simple lockpick skill level check. If only I was more familiar with papyrus... I've looked and looked but I can't seem to find that particular script! argh! **UPDATE** WOOOO! and 5 hours later I finally have it! so... much.. scripting... testing.. https://mods.bethesda.net/#en/workshop/fallout4/mod-detail/2606638
  7. sorry, that's not at all what I want. basically I never want to see a lockpicking "screen" again.
  8. Can someone please make a mod that eliminates the lockpicking mini game altogether and instead, when you interact with a locked object, it just does a simple skill check and if you have high enough skill it just opens the [whatever] ?
  9. I've looked at the leveled lists (LL_Vendor_Caps_Base and so on.. ) and those don't seem to affect vendors' starting caps, so how do you do it? If possible I'd like to modify all vendors in the game with 1 base value
  10. Well, it is true that there is no comprimise between ruling and adventuring, but going along with StuartSmiles, there could be some situation, say, being on a royal boat or on a holiday where the Dragonborn could slip away and do Dragonborn things. well kings had stewards and others in the court (even the queen) to rule in their stead when they had to go off and do other things. I don't think it would be a problem.
  11. because when you set your skill to legendary you get back all the perk points from that skill and when you level the skill all the way up again you gain more character levels and that gives you even more perk points, so you basically end up with a lot more perk points that you had the first time you hit 100/100 with a skill. I'm kind of surprised noone else has taken the time to tell you this already.
  12. would really like to see a mod that does a return to the way morrowind handled ore extraction (i.e. ore veins as containers that you just open and loot the ores)
  13. using the CK, how do you make him stop sending you letters every time you buy a damn arrow ?
  14. Is it possible to modify green thumb to make it also work with nirnroot? Or do you have to modify nirnroot in some way? Either way I just want to make a mod that makes it so green thumb applies to nirnroot. Can someone point me in the right direction? nvm, NoxyGame helped me figure it out! :D uploaded the mod here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=120267240
