So I've been playing fallout 4 for a ling time and modding it. I usually dont have too many issues but just recently a new popped up. Any modded power armor (i.e. Excavator, T51-C, Ultracite, Hellfire, X-02). I cant change the legs or heads on them. I can equip them but they wont show up in the power armor crafting station. Vanilla power armors work fine. I have AWKCR, Armorsmith Extended, and those AWKCR -VIS-G [atches installed. Nothing has fixed the issue. Edit: Nevermind, I had the wrong AWKCR enabled, the one where I didnt use the Power Armor patch. So you need the AWKCR VIS-G and the AWKCR core power armor patches to modify legs and head apparently.

Sorry what is this? Why be mobile friendly? Nobody uses this site on their phone, at least not to download Mods. The whole thing is confusing, poorly planned, like I have to go to a dropdown menu that's hard to find categories because you all have stuck a bunch of adds in between the information. Like why? The eyes are going to be drawn below the ads and will miss those other menu bars that are crucial, it shouldn't take me 5 minutes to find categories, hell it didn't take me more then 2 minute to figure out the old site when I got on, also the slide show sorta thing for hot files was better then this new layout which takes up way more room and presents less information. I want text description not just some pictures. Also the pictures on the hotfiles bar are too small, hard to tell what's going on the picture. Honestly if you wanted to make it more "mobile friendly", which is stupid to do on a PC GAME MODDING WEBSITE make the buttons bigger or something don't try to fix what's not broken. If anything is broken its the forums, I hate them. They're among the most difficult to navigate message boards I have ever been on. So fix the forums before you break what wasn't broken.

So I've been try to keep away from having my HDD being clogged up by this CC content, and keep my F4SE running, but steam managed to remove my fallout4launcher.exe from before the CC patch, if anyone has a link to where I can get that version of the executable so I can play without having to download this creation club nonsense that would be great. Edit: The version number I need is 1.9.4. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Sorry for a necro, but one day my mods were working fine, and then my computer went buggy with the gui, and installed an update I had been try to avoid when I rebooted it. Now my game is working but wont load any of the mods, and it can see them in the mod list, but its like its not activating them, I cant even pull them through the console. Retextures are there but all the weapons and armors are gone, when I loaded the modded savegame the weapons just vanished from it no CTD. I've gone through the .inis and the plugin.txt. everything I there but its nit working. I swear Fallout 4 seems so nonfriendly to mods compared to Skyrim. Please help I've been fighting with this for 8 hours Edit: The [M] tag for a modded tag isn't popping up either. So I'm really confused and pissed now. -
I play as a variety of races and both genders. It just kind of depends on what I feel like doing. My first character was an Argonian everthing, mage, theif, warrior, scout. He was awesome to play and had a huge collection of weapons and a party at his house (Lakeview Manor) with custom followers all the time until I blew up his save game with sloppy mod management. Next I did a male Breton scout, then made him a sister also a scout. Made a Kahjiit knight/tank, an Argonian mage, both of which were male. Honestly its kind of a coin toss almost for me. Right now I'm doing my first Nord playthrough and he's a vampire in Harkon's court. I have a Dunmer Spellsword (female), and a Breton knight (female). So yeah I'm totally random in my choice of gender for my PCs. The females are better looking for sure but I cant play as a female all the time, plus I want to get married and only my male characters get married. P.S. How do I save my PCs racemenu settings into a preset to load for later? I have no idea....

I read this amazing wall of text and wow.... So much info. It almost makes me scared that by the time of the TES game Bethesda will say, "Hell no, we wont release a creation kit" because for one reason or another it becomes inconvenient for them. Now I'm not a modder by any means. I'm a gamer who started with tabletop games and made mods for that (yes really), and then went to console gaming, and I swore I would never buy a PC for gaming because "PlayStation 2 is the best system ever" and "Microsoft sucks". I'm still of the idea that Microsoft is some second rate software compared to Mac (I would take OS9 or Classic software over Windows any day). However I grew disillusioned with consoles when PlayStation 3 threw backwards compatibility out the window and Xbox did something that sounded almost like game rentals. I still love my PlayStation 2 a lot, but I'm very glad I have found PC gaming and modding, I love what the modders do, I have learned some PC smarts here, and I hope to learn to make my own mods, but currently I have more pressing matters in real life to pursue such a journey, and my computer is potato but still runs 230 mods (idk but it runs HOT)... I hope that whatever happens Nexus, or some equivalent will always be around, it has some very nice helpful people here. God bless you the modders and moderators who make this possible, you are pillars on which games and the communities around games stand. We can all go and download skyrim and have the same copy but you allow us to make our own version of this world far beyond what Bethesda intended with excellent spells and armors, and followers. It means every one person's Skyrim is different from anyone elses. I think this will be good for console players as long as massive abuses of intellectual properties and lawyers doesn't ensue, but lawyers seem to make a mess of everything. Once again God bless the modders and moderators who make the Nexus possible... P.S. Yes I know I have a lot of mods to endorse.... leave me alone, I'm getting around to it, my internet is kind of potato like my computer. :tongue:

So I am trying to find a decent house mod. I've looked at mod after mod and so now I will ask the community for suggestions. I don't want any huge castles or things with all these little things I have to go and press and stuff, although I really do like static clutter (that glows at enchanting and alchemy tables). Static glowing clutter. Elisdriel (I don't remember the is one I got and I liked except I would CTD consistently when trying to leave the area it was in. And I have another one called Darkwater Keep (added by Clef J's Darkwater Crossing) and it's almost too cluttered haha. A good example is iWilliBlecha's Drunken Huntsman overhaul, I really like what they did with the store and all the glowing bits. So if anyone knows a decent house with all that kind of clutter that isn't crowded or a honkin huge castle like sjel blad castle (which I got lost in for 30 minutes while I was getting really thirsty and hungry because of iNeed), please post a link. What I want to know is why this Mod has been under review for two years.... I've been on community driven mod sites before and they never had something down for two years.... albeit they werent video games, but there was software to be downloaded. So penalize me for a thread necro and asking about this but two years seems like a long time to review an armor mod. -

Ok so I found a new problem, I put Tania the Hermit in my game, she didnt get transferred over etirely it seems, since I could craft her clothes but she wasnt anywhere to be found. I couldn't find her files in NMM so I downloaded them again and now I can only get her to show up with console commands and I cant find taniasgate power anywhere.... What is going on.... Can someone help? Tania is at the bottom of the load order, and I never had this problem on the old computer. -

So my poor HP pavilion died. So I had to go and buy another computer, and this time I bough a computer with a quad core processor and an AMD graphics card in it, again an HP Pavilion though. I also bought a hard drive reader so I could pull my old hard drive and get all of my mods, and it worked I got all but two followers. Skyrim seems to run a lot smoother and faster, less stuttering. Less CTDs. It still likes to freeze in the inventory pages a lot though, that seems to be the main issue, I just cant speed scroll through them it seems, as it happened at the tanning rack when I was quickly looking for a vial belt to craft.. It doesn't mind running 20 hostile npc mages after me though. :P -
Hello all, I would like to request a mod for the weapon Giantsmiter, I have seached for it on the forums and in the Nexus but no one has made such a sword. I am going to guess that its probably not well known as say the big sword from Final Fantasy or others. It is a greatsword from the Dragonlance Universe. It has the ability to cut through any substance known to man, and can, by twisting the hilt become exude blue fire from along its blade. More background here: http://dragonlancenexus.com/lexicon/index.php?title=Giantsmiter With the whole bit in there about the wielder needing a noble heart I though that blue flame thing should be an ability like say a shout or other custom powers that use that key, and can only be activated by players who are not Vampires or Werewolves. Since I cant code or anything like that I certainly hope someone will see this and be inspired to make such a sword. I know there's no picture to go off of but that allows for whoever makes it to be more creative I guess. Thanks in advance for reading and for considering.

Well when you have the skyUI you can arrange the armors in the forge by class (heavy, light, or clothing), by body slot (head, body, hands, feet, etc) or by rating or by weight instead of the default alphabetical order. Whenever I try to rearrange them based on those values it crashes or freezes. Its annoying because I like to arrange my armors by class, since I'm primarily a light armor user. I do not know if it does this in the weapons, jewelry, or misc. smithing tabs I'll to go back and look. Edit: I do have the latest SKSE. 2nd Edit: I think I'm in the right file, it said configuration settings in the windows file explorer page. So I have just one issue now. When I use the skyUI to rearrange the armor and weapons based on different classes or types at a smithing it freezes or crashes. Acoording to LOOT SkyUI is fine so should I start by cleaning the ones TESVEdit says have ITMs in them? I really want to fix this. Thanks in advance again. Edit: it also crashed when there were like 30 NPCs in one cell (3 hold guards, traveler merchant and two body guards, about 5 militia warriors and then even more farther down the road of 5 imperials vs. 10 stormcloaks) it's like I had war zones installed but I don't so seeing that was really odd. -

So after running the game for a while and quitting out I found 237 orphaned scripts when I ran save cleaner. Cleaned them up. But even with them there I was running smooth, I had one crash when I opened up NMM with the game still running by alt-tabbing out. It seems to be a bad idea to do that. Edit: Well it crashed in the inventory of a smithing forge, perhaps I have too many armors and weapons mods
