  1. Got a question involving bodyslide as well. Mine is up and running and it does everything it should do, but it's abnormally slow to process the outfits. It took me 3 hours and 40mins and 51 seconds to process 447 outfits. Would any of you guys happen to have a clue as to where to point me in order to cut the time down to something more manageable? If you need a load order or just a quick list of the clothing packs I have installed, I can provide that. I've previously used past versions of Bodyslide and outfit studio for Skyrim and for Fallout 4 (I've logged over 500 hours in fallout 4 this year, and tested all of Eli's outfits, the CROSS outfits and many others and it has never been this slow. Usually it takes around 3 to 6 mins to process about 370 outfits for me. In Skyrim and in Fallout.) Hope it isn't too much trouble to post this here, but I saw that this was a bodyslide problem involving fallout 4. Let me know if I need to move the post and I will create my own topic. Just didn't want to take up unneeded forum space.
  2. If nothing else cool came out of Brink, the outfits were freakin' nice. I'm posting this here in case a skilled modder comes along and agrees that Brink's apparel aesthetic would slam the commonwealth with unforeseen badassery. I know these things take time to create, some modders put months of effort into these things they give away for free. Modders are some of the greatest and I always appreciate the contribution to just...making a game better. It'd be beyond sweet to see these in 2k textures with maybe some chrome on the zippers. As far as appreciation goes if anyone picked these up...Endorsements? Yes. Awesome comments? Yes. Donations? Psh, absolutely. This'd be a Christmas gift.
  3. My problem: I cannot play a stable modded version of Skyrim. Seems no matter how many mods I have active, the game will crash in under an hour. Sometimes within minutes. I do not know why. I've been trying to Mod Skyrim for about a year now. I've spent countless hours, entire days devoted to reading mod compatibility info, STEP guide, GamerPoets Ini tweaks, Gopher's install guides, cleaning mods, bashing patches, merging plugins, tweaking papyrus memory settings and fooling around with load orders. I've surfed forums for fixes and load order guides. Nothing has fixed these CTD's in all this time. Nothing. I'm about at my wits end. I don't know what is causing the crashes. I have never once run more than 150 mods, sometimes as low as 50 to 70, disabling them one by one and reloading loot, repatching DSR and FNIS every time.
  4. Basically there's nothing to this more than the title and tags. I'm not sure if it already exists, but I think there should be an AI package or whatever it takes to get enemies to kill themselves by accident when they screw up big time with explosives. I've seen it time and again when some jackass tries to launch a fatman nuke at me and it explodes on the ground below his feet or on a rail in front of him. I prematurely burst into laughter only to find him standing there after the smoke clears, loading another nuke into the launcher much to my chagrin and it's ridiculous and should be dealt with, heh. I'd actually do it myself. I have at least 20 to 30 hours of experience working with Fallout's CK, but that's only with creating custom AI packages to go with custom NPC's and companions. If anyone knows of a mod like this that already exists, or knows where I can find a tutorial that will teach me how to do what I'm suggesting, please point me to it. If it doesn't exist and I find out how to make it, I'll put it on the Nexus for everyone.
  5. I sincerely appreciate the thorough responses and advice. This information certainly will help tremendously. Thanks for the links too, I'll likely be referring back to this page to jot down these noteworthy points. If this is the kind of help I can expect from nexus members, learning to mod is going to go a lot smoother than I thought it would. Thanks again to the both of you. I'm sure I'll have more questions about modding in the future.
  6. I'd like to know if anyone would be willing to point me in the right direction for learning how to create completely custom weapons and put them into fallout 4. What I'm really wanting to do is to essentially retexture some of the weapons in The Gun Runner's Arsenal from Fallout New Vegas and add them to FO4. (Let's face it, FNV's weapons beat the hell out of all of F04's in practically every conceivable aspect.) I want to take the hunting shotgun and the assault carbine and port them into FO4, fully functioning with all their mods and sound effects, along with updated textures. Depending upon how well my mods turn out and what the response on the nexus is, it's possible that I would recreate the entire Gun Runners Arsenal. I've downloaded NifSkope, as I heard I'll need that. If there are any other tools that I'll need in order to learn how to create great mods, I'd very much appreciate any advice anyone with modding experience can give me or point me to, as I've not been able to find much on the Creation Kit's functions on Youtube or the internet in general.
