hey guys, as we all know, the diseases and poison in skyrim are lame, a deadly mansized spider shoots you full of poison and it wears off after 5 seconds, with other examples of course. anyway, the mod deadly traps and sickly diseases doesnt work with 1.6 skyrim, darwins nightmare infection module is buggy and you cant cure the poisons, secondly, neither of these mods have been updated for ages. im hoping that someone would create a more in depth poison/disease mod, we have all these reality mods for eating and sleeping and exposure, but nothing really intense for getting sick, and i think it would add yet another layer of depth to a game that if the right mods are added can be much more immersive than the vanilla experience. one point i would make for this mod is that cure poison potions would have to be stocked in every alchemy shop, they are really rare and difficult to come by. thanks for checking out the post, capo

search for the mod "darwins nightmare" install the hard times module, and that should make it much harder to get money

its youve got 7k better whiterun thats the culprit, recently i had several issues due to that mod, i dont even know why, but i had invisible walls and brynjolf being a massive dick. but yeah, uninstall better whiterun, load a previous save before you encountered the bug, should be alright

it doesnt work with skyrim 1.6 and neither do a lot of mods, all you can do is wait until the modders update their mods to work, or rollback your game (i dont even know if thats possible) sorry about that old mate

like the guy above me i had this issue and it was solved by uninstalling housing mods, the ones that did it for me were either 7k better whiterun or improved villages, not sure which, gonna post on their pages

beth needs to work on its storytelling and dungeons before its graphics, skyrim is a great game but without the mods and roleplaying i certainly wouldnt still be playing it, the quests are boring half the time and the guilds are too short to make you feel like youve actually achieved anything - as has been said 2000+ times before by various people

it should stay as a single player, the elder scrolls have always been a single player experience and should stay that way

i lol'd at the reactions in this thread. im fairly theres a mod the get all the npcs to take their clothes off, then you can use the adult show one....i dont really use these kinds of mods, just look up the most popular adult mods available?

ive played up past this point a couple of times so i know that when you do the legion quest to get the crown of thorns hadvar should be there, however hes not around in my game, i recently patched to 1.5, so ideas people? its greatly upsetting not to have hadvar there

i would like to point out to you guys that the longbow provides the best possible dps out of all the bows, if you improve it as much as you can, it is the lightest bow and therefore the fastest to draw and shoot

i had my doubts as these are usually pretty terrible, but not bad at all, good work

tbh the only issue i have with skyrim so far is its lack of in depth story line, your choices make little difference to the world, and npcs dont react to your achievements most of the time, that being said i enjoy the game a hell of a lot and am hoping the DLC will be more story focused than anything else

wood elf, the whole sneaky shooty thing is fun as hell, i havent finished the game yet but ive restarted 3 times (mainly for mod/ roleplaying reasons) as bosmer archers and im not bored yet. i cant decide what id want my next class to be so that makes race choosing difficult, im curious about a spellsword breton, but then i dont like using magic at all really, and melee seems a bit dull so i dunno

for the most part i enjoy the elves, some of the npcs are a bit fugly (faendal....yugh) but apart from that some really nice looking characters can be created if you put effort in, and i know most people put effort in lol

all threads questioning mod uses should be deleted from the forums on a regular basis, simply asking the question "why?" seems to be like firing a machinegun into a crowd, youll surely hit something and then youve got a a riot of angry posts and regrettable word choices.

can an admin please lock this s*** thread? 1. the only reason people want to use anime mods is because they like anime enough to use anime mods 2. the only reason people dont want to use anime mods is because they like the TES enough to maintain the original TES atmosphere. /thread now stop f***ing talking about this, its a constant boring circle jerk. edit: the nexus site should have lore friendly and non lore friendly categories and search options, out of sight out of mind.

youre forgetting that steam does dick all when it comes to stopping pirates, theres torrents all over the place, i wouldnt be surprized if most of the patches are cracked by now aswell. im sure beth had their reasons for using steam but it was definately not an attempt to stop piracy.

my psu broke on the only computer capable of running skyrim i have so i havent been able to test the 1.4 patch out yet, but i hope so, i watched my brother abusing sneak and it gave me the shits
