Bug: after completing the first two jobs Brynjolf gives, when I follow him into the cistern for the talk with mercer he appears off to the right of the door instead of heading for the middle (It's possibly noteworthy that mercer isn't standing where he should be at this time, but is at his desk.) If I wait for him to move, eventually Brynjolf will draw his daggers and attack me. This has occurred in three consecutive new games started, with a reinstall after the first, for reasons listed below. Possible culprits: Warzones Mod UFO both were installed just before the first time I encountered the problem. I think it's most likely a problem with warzones. There has been, each time I've had this happen, a "thief" (not the typical one, but one armed with a bow and wearing the guildmaster armor) encounter on the road from the starter dungeon to Riverwood, who attacks without provocation and is powerful enough to bring Hadvar or Ralof to their knees, forcing you to either join the fight or do a -lot- of fleeing and hiding. assuming my role in the fight was the problem, I deactivated warzones in NMM, and the game began CTD'ing when starting a new game. I reinstalled the game from disk, and this corrected that, but I still got the encounter and the bug. starting a third game, I managed to escape the encounter without personally even drawing on the thief, but Hadvar still killed him, and Brynjolf still tried to kill me. I'm assuming some code from warzones is still lying around, any ideas on where/how to fix it? thanks in advance.
