  1. Awesome! I'll give this a shot! Thanks.
  2. Ok, so I want to edit my damage so that I can dictate how much my Greatsword will do. Previously, on an old save file, my greatsword (A modded, stand-alone weapon ) did around 800 damage and showed up green in it's stat box. I'm not exactly sure how I managed that, but I had been playing around with the console commands ( player.mod/set/force/av twohanded ## ) However, I recently had an accident with Bethesda's horrible save game managing and my file was overwritten by a new character. So, I've made another character for two-handed blades and I can't for the life of me figure this out. I've used .modav twohanded ##. Used the .setav, and used the .forceav. I've even used all three to set them at the same desired number, but my weapon's damage stay at 39. I've also tried leveling up the skill and level of my character after inputting the commands into the console, but still no change. I've tried searching for some reason or means to do it, but alas, here I am. If anyone knows how to do/fix or manage this, I'd be grateful!
  3. I completely support this TCM. I think it's amazing. I can't wait to see the result and I'm curious to see how you'll do the dragons and Riders' swords.
  4. I want the Witchking's sword so much. The one Templar did for Oblivion was amazing.
  5. Seems like a solid idea. Could definitely have some fun with a mod like this.
  6. I love Skyrim. I love most things about it, however, I have one nuisance that bothers me every time I play the game. I'm a Greatsword/2h/Claymore fan. I always enjoy using two-handed swords. This is where I feel Bethesda really faltered in Skyrim because I find while they were trying to 'make combat more realistic', they added a bunch of unbalanced weaponry. And I've had to download attack animation mods, but that's not why I'm posting this. That said, I think the iron/steel/skyforge steel greatswords have to short of a blade length. I prefer my 2h swords on the bigger side, about as tall as an adult. Is there any way someone can do a mod to increase their length a bit. Maybe about a foot or so (IG Wise)? TL:DR - Greatsword blades too short. Possible to make a bit longer? About Also, I've seen Sephiroth's Masamune and Berserk sword, so I know it must be possible to simply to this, especially since it's just the original weapon texture and mesh. ( In case you're wondering why I didn't like those, I don't care for anime weapons in my WRPGs )
  7. Personally, I think some of these Greatswords should be added because aside from the steel and iron, the other Greatswords ingame look horrible. http://thearma.org/essays/2HGS.html They're always nice to use and see in game. I also hate how greatswords are completely underpowered to just about damn near everything else in game.
  8. I was thinking that the Greatswords are a bit too small. The hilt and pommel seem pretty fine to me, but I just find the blades slightly short. Any chance you could do a mod for a Greatsword with a longer blade or one to extend the blades already in game? I'm kind of looking for a blade along the lines of the Witchking's Sword size in the Oblivion mod. http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=oblivionmods.detail&id=1063 And maybe some upped damage because I feel Greatswords are unjustly weakened compared to the other 2h weapons.
  9. Ok, I'll give this a try, thank you! Edit: Didn't work for me. I even went as far as to deleting all the mod files I'm trying to use and starting over and even placing the upgraded weapon in the same room as the original.
  10. Ok, I'm attempting to try and alter a Mod weapon, ( http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=oblivionmods.detail&id=1063 ) to be exact. What I'm trying to do is edit the weapons damage and speed, and I do manage to do this and I do manage to get the altered mods to come up in OBMM, however when I'm in game and go to search for the edited weapon in the designated places, ( IC District Market crates. I've put it in numerous crates to help make finding easier.), I search all the crates and come up with nothing. I do have the original sword equipped and it functions properly, although retains the older stats. And yes, I have been to the visual store and that enabled me to bring the .esp file to my data in order for it to appear in OBMM. I've tried editing the weapon under different names a few times, and I DO have some different files and mods in the Data folder. Should I delete these and the original mod and start over, or is there just something I'm missing, or is it even possible to alter mod weapons stats at all. I've tried searching for tutorials and threads, but all I've come across were modding original weapons and not mod weapons themselves such as what I'm attempting to do. Thanks- Varendis
