  1. Use ALL the things! :D Seriously, though. I usually of with something that does no use for my chosen profession, or is cursed. ^ This.
  2. 1. Depending on what type of character you want to build, different races yield different advantages and disadvantages. You can choose whichever one you want and still create a good character no matter which you choose (with the right amount of time and money invested in the right places, which isn't hard if you know what you're doing.) but Skyrim and Morrowind are different in the way of guidance. I would recommend choosing whichever class suits you the best for the type of character and also one that suits your abilities. 2. This all depends on what type of character YOU want, you can be a daring thief who steals from the rich or a brave and noble warrior or a mage of destruction. I would recommend reading through all of the character options and skills and see which ones you think you could excel in. Some of the most significant changes from Skyrim to Morrowind is the combat system, you'll find the smooth pull of your drawstring on your bow in Skyrim is much different in Morrowind, same with using swords or spells. Depending on how you think your abilities from Skyrim can transfer over to Morrowind partially depends mostly on how much you get used to whatever type of combat style you play. 3. My recommendation would be that you should use whatever armor style is on your major skills list, but that's just me. Whichever one fits you the most would be the best answer I could come up with for that question, it depends on what type of character you are. 4. You can go anywhere you want, I liked to take the road to Balmora so that I could take to Caius before I took off and start killing people.
  3. Ever since my first character, I've always found myself changing races and different playing styles. First off, I've been mostly switching between Warrior and Thief, I believe that the Warrior is great due to the fact that the majority of daedric artifacts are Heavy Armor, but I love playing as a thief too, due to that it has more factions than the Warrior. I also have trouble with races, this is a list of what I've played as so far: Dark Elf - Mage Khajiit - Thief Nord - Thief, Warrior So I believe I've finally narrowed it down to two races which I enjoy the look of and the starting stats: Wood Elf - Thief Orc - Warrior Right now, I'm leaning more towards the Wood Elf due to that I believe that Archery might be a better fit for me and I've always enjoyed playing as a stealth character, I achieved level 40 on my Nord Thief and completed the Main Quest, the DB, Stormcloaks and the Thieves Guild. On my other playthroughs, I've completed the Companions and the College of Winterhold. So what race do you like? What kind of character do you have? I'm curious to found out what others have chosen.
  4. Are you sure that you're talking to the steward?
  5. I'm a Khajiit, I think I finally found the right race for me. What are you? EDIT: You can now choose as many as you like.
  6. I believe that this might be caused by doing the Gray-Mane quest "Missing in Action". If you've done that, this might be the reason for it, I've also encountered this after completing that quest I believe. But I may be wrong, who knows?
  7. This would be an interesting part of DLC, but you have to think of what else has been showcased in Skyrim. It could be anything for all we know. But the Dwemer might be a pretty cool DLC.
  8. Erm... maybe. The spiders would scare me and probably kill me due to being paralyzed in fear. :psyduck:
  9. So I finished up a few of the Bards College quests lately, and after a bit of work, no more quests? -_- Am I the only one who thinks that they could have made a much larger questline for this College? What if the player wants to be a Bard and can't due to a restricted questline?
  10. Which Skyrim DLC do YOU want? I think that Mournhold or the rest of the Morrowind that you never got to see would be great, what about everyone else?
  11. Title says it all, anyone care to voice their opinion? I'm looking for a race with good Destruction, Dark Elf has caught my eye so far.
  12. That's a great idea, thank you both very much, I just used a walkthrough to double-check to make sure that I hadn't gotten any coins from that quest, I've decided that I'm going to put them in a barrel and go out and buy a set of Steel armor. :D
  13. Thank you both very much, I will start to follow that. The other thing is that I feel like I don't deserve the Imperial Templar Cuirass and Greaves that I got from the quest and that I should start over my character entirely. Probably because I could have looked around a bit more and I used the walkthrough as an easy way out, but now that I've seen the above posts, I know not to use walkthroughs unless I truly need them, thanks to you both!
  14. I recently used a walkthrough for an Imperial Legion quest, I looked around a couple of islands and couldn't find the cave I was looking for. Now I got the Templar Cuirass and Greaves, only because of that Walkthrough though, and now I feel guilty, is it cheating it or not?
  15. So, I'm doing the writ for Sarayn Sadus and I can't seem to get past the one that wields a claymore, he keeps hitting away at me and always killing me, any help on how to deal with him? Thanks.
  16. No, not at all. The writ keeps you from having to pay the bounty when a guard stops you after you've committed your assassination. Read the description of what the Morag Tong is - it's a legal and honorable guild of assassins that only take legal writs of execution. They have a strict moral code about the whole thing. That writ is what separates you from being just another thug. Thanks for answering my final question and thanks for all of your help. :D
  17. One last question, is presenting a writ considered a job badly done? Thank you very much.
  18. Thank you, right now I'm wondering if I should change classes or stay at mine, does it matter if Light Armor is a minor skill? Does that still count as a favored skill for Morag Tong, etc. or are favored skills only for major? Which Light Armor is good for a starter?
  19. I can't seem to decide, I started my character yesterday as a Barbarian, but I'm more interested in the Morag Tong, I always seemed to love Marksman and killing people very fun. I have both expansions, so if you have any advice, please fire away.
  20. What level can Wendelbek be completed at? I installed the mod, found the ruin, and the very first wold inside has proven too much for me. I'm 16th now. I remember completing it at about Level 20 or so, if you have the right equipment with good health and sorcery potions, along with a healing spell, you can easily get to the end of Wendelbek.
  21. Should I buy this? I've been thinking about it ever since Skyrim came out and my computer sucks too much to be able to run it, but Morrowind seems like a great game! I have some questions, if anyone could answer them for me. 1. I've looked at UESPWiki for the Classes and armors of the game, I'm confused between which armor is good, I'm very strongly headed towards medium armor, yet heavy armor seems great too, but I can't find a class I like with HA as a major skill, any suggestions? 2. Is this game one that has quest markers on each quest or does it just not hold your hand and set it on fire during the quest? 3. What are your opinions overall on this game? 4. Should I have looked up the armors, factions, quite a few quests and rewards from them, and etc or will that have spoiled the game overall? Thank you very much.
  22. Mine is the ones that try to seduce you in that quest.
