  1. This is a strange problem. I'm using the Clare looksmenu preset from https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/47160?tab=posts I have all of the listed requirements and the preset looks exactly as it should. Atleast until the body....it explodes in all directions. It only does it with this preset. I loaded several other presets and all of the bodies appear fine, whats the deal with this preset?
  2. I've been messing around with bodyslide for awhile now and have never had a problem. Lastnight everything was fine, today I decided to try another body texture and when I load a body and preset in BS there is no texture. The armor textures appear just fine but the body is missing the texture. I uninstalled those textures and reinstalled cbbe and the issue persists. I then uninstalled cbbe and bodyslide and reinstalled....same issue. As I said....the armor appears fine but the body not so much. everything appears ingame though. Any idea what is causing this? its driving me nuts. reinstalled the whole damn game and bodyslide....everything worked for a time and then the body textures stopped showing again. :verymad:
  3. I figured it out...was missing the 4 at the end. this can be deleted now.
  4. I just reinstalled Fo4 recently and I can open the console with ` but other than that I can do nothing with it. I was trying to find items with the help "item name" and it just doesn't work...I tried any item and the console simply does nothing. Tried typing help to see useful console commands and nothing came up either. Any idea what I'm forgetting? ty in advance.tgm..no luc. ty in advance.
  5. maybe someone here can help me out with this. When ever I try to export a psk from blender, its spits out this error. I can export an unedited mesh wwithout problems but as soon as I make any kind of change, I get hit with that permission denied error. Any advice on this will be appreciated.
  6. Been working on a daedric armor remodel and so far its working out pretty well for my 1st armor. The problem is with making it weight slider compatable.The _0 and _1 meshes have the exact same vertex count and the weights were copided from another armor 0 and 01.It explodes when the weight is between min and max. I could release it as is but i want to release a fully functioning armor set.   7. Ive been trying to import some nif into gmax and ive run into an annoyance. I can load the bodys into gmax but as soon as it involves armor.......nothing imports at all. no error message or anything. Any idea what is causing this?
  8. I know importing high models into DaO is possible, someone imported dreadknight and LK armor over. Last time i tried it failed miserably resulting in the model pretty much exploding ingame. Ive done some conversions with low poly stuff without much trouble. My question is how is it done? Ive done a few sets of armor that use alpha transparency, the problem I am having is with funky transparent edges ingame. http://s759.photobucket.com/albums/xx237/trumpdog01/?action=view&current=draconic.jpg Again, Is this something im not doing in blender or are my alphas screwed up? Ive checked the alphas over and over again and they appear to be solid black and white. Atleast i think so. I dont see any greys in them to cause partial transparency at the edges. The gloves use transparency aswell but doesnt have the same issue and just noticed that this is limited to the elf female model version, The human female appears fine and shares the same mao....wierd Ty in advance
  9. Bioware is pretty much usless in any possible solution to this problem atm. I recently reinstalled the dragon age toolset again. The problem is that the process opens but not the actual program, i had this problem before and the fix was install an older version of my antivirus/firewall. Since that old version no longer receives protection updates that fix is not possible. The exceptions are in the firewall for the toolset, so thats fine. Ive even tried the dep method which didnt do squat. The toolset starts right up when the antivirus/firewall is completely uninstalled. I dont even get an error message, just a running proccess and no toolset and simply turning off my antivirus/firewall doesnt help. Something is permantly preventing this from booting up and i cant figure out that it is. Does anyone have any idea what could possibly be causing this?? TY in advance Ive tried several reinstalls aswell
  10. I got the transparency going but there is 1 particular model that just wont use the transparency on the texture..... nvm i had to reimport that model and it worked fine
  11. The texture i am using needs transparency to "shape" a model that i am working on. The problem is i have no idea how to add the transparency to the texture, I tried deleting the background and that didnt work....those areas just turned out black when i applied the texture in blender. Ive use texture transparency before on previous armors but now im having trouble getting the transparency to hold. all of the green areas in this screen needs to be transparent http://s759.photobucket.com/albums/xx237/trumpdog01/?action=view&current=testdynastyscreen.jpg any idea on how to do it? ty in advance
  12. nvm. I found a way around it by adding gloves and boots with no item variation^^
  13. In the toolset there are 2 types of massive armor. massive armor and massive armor (no boots). Is there a way to add something like that for light armor?
  14. before removing any weapon or armor mods, make sure you load your saved game and unequip it all and then save game. I had that problem a few times...ruined my game because i had inflated stats><
  15. my problems are solved but not sure about chibievil. although i do know what his problem is, it was the same as mine. You cannot convert armor from fbx to msh and keep the bone wieghts intact.

  17. problem solved. Since i used a robes for the boneweight copy, it HAD to use a clothing gda since the other armor types dont support full body armor very well
  18. New day..new problem... Now that i managed to get my custom model ingame as standalone, i now have an issue with the default hand and feet showing throgh my model. My armor has glove and boots combined into it and uses the bone weights of a robe model which has feet and gloves as well. Any ideas on how to make the default feet and hands from showing through the model? Even boots and gloves that are equipped show through it.
  19. now that i got my model ingame, im having the same problem that you have in your 2 screen with the body not being attached.....
