I read it, and I didn't say that there was no reason(I said the opposite, actually.) I just think it's an awful reason, considering that most of (if not all) the weapon and armor mods I've come across require it.

Looks like the author has decided to hide the mod because reasons. Is there an alternative out there? It seems like half the mods I'm trying to use require it, and even if he unhides it right now I'd honestly rather go with an alternative, if it's out there.

Is the Nexus Mod Manager reliable for Skyrim? I'm getting a new graphics card today, so I should be able to jump into it, but I have VERY little experience modding (I've done some in Morrowind with HIGHLY varying degrees of success, but I've heard that most mods won't work with NMM for that game.
