I have just downloaded vortex because I was thinking of reinstalling Oldrim along side of my currently fully modded Skyrim SE. 250 active mods in SE. Then I realized that I didn't have Oldrim installed (I thought that I had it installed already). I accidentally got vortex to associate with SE. Bad things happen lol. Now SE doesn't see the mods I have loaded via NMM at all. It only sees Vortex and the fact that Vortex has no mods loaded. So I figure, I would have to just import NMM to Vortex. I know that I have a lot of mods in NMM but it's been in Stage 2, setup, for 30 minutes now. I even restarted Vortex twice just in case. How long does setup phase take normally if you have max mods?

Good eve folks, While searching for a mod that was causing CTD, I uninstalled Every mod and reinstalled them a few at a time until I found the culprit. In the meantime though, I caught a new glitch. My character won't leave first person view and sometimes I can even see from "inside" of it's head. In other words, I can see the back of it's nose from inside of the head. By reinstalling XP32MS and running FNIS all over again, I can fix the character view but only until I need to reload the game, then the first person bug is back. I figure this has Got to be with the skeleton, but I figured why not simplify things and (since I found the mod causing the crashes and I don't have a ton of mods) just uninstall everything again and reinstall from scratch since I am pretty sure I have all of the mods I want in NMM now. My question is: what general order should I load these types of mods into NMM? Animation (including Fores New Idles and Pretty Female Idles and XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended), Body Face and Hair (including Total Character Makeover, UNP, and Apachi Skyhair), Enviromental (like vivid weathers), and Followers? In other words, I know I should install Fores before XP32 and I am guessing that I should actually load Fores, then the Animation mods like Pretty Female Animations, and lastly XP32; but should I load the Body Face and Hair mods before the Animation mods? Should I load the Enviromental Mods before I even load those mods? I haven't been able to find a "load in this general order" guide yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Found the mod that was causing the problem. I am not sure exactly why but Quax's Questorium caused crash to desktop whenever I would go near Honningbrew Meadery and when I would go to the crossroads on the map SE of Ivarstead.

Sorry about the load list, I didn't know that it should be in spoilers. I haven't had to post in an extremely long time, years in fact. So basically there is no way to find out what mod is breaking my game? This is the very game that I hate to love. I keep coming back to it and it always breaks no matter what mods I load and there is Never a way to find out what is breaking it. I don't use outlandish mods. 90% are the same mods most people use. The game has no crash reports?

Hey folks, I have a CTD going on that so far has only occured in two exact areas... the outside map around Honingbrew Meadery and an area on the outside map southeast of Ivarstead where two major roads intersect on the map. So far I can go everywhere else but whenever I go anywhere near these areas the game simply crashes to desktop with no warnings or messages. I have tried reloading just before these areas and "skirting" around them to see how far I can go around them without causing the CTD and it seems that I can actually "go around the CTD" but the catch is that the Meadery has at least two quests that I need to finish to continue the TG storyline and the Vilja (mod) quest line. The TG quest, of course, I can just use the console to bypass but I can't do that with Vilja and to be honest I would really just like to find out what is causing it and try to fix it. I have no idea what is in the area SE of Ivarstead. I don't know of any quest there. According to LOOT, I have no errors and everything is in a good order so I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to really narrow down what the issue is so I can fix it. I use NMM. I haven't played the game in a very long time and just reinstalled Windows 10 so that I could have a fresh install of everything so this is a brand new install. Hello all, I used to have a pc disk for the game but having had it destroyed by a grandson by accident, I got the steam version of the game ages ago. It's been a long time since I have played. I used to use wrye bash and boss all the time and I had tons of mods going. I stopped playing when I had a usual setup of my favorite mods and after adding a few more mods to that list, the game just stopped working. It had to be a mod conflict I believe but for the love of whomever I could not figure it out and even after removing all of the newer mods it just wouldn't load the game anymore past the first loading screen. I ended up thinking that the problem may have been that I was using Steam's version. Will BOSS work with Steam? Is there anything special to know? Does BOSS have an installer like NMM does so that I can use Nexus Mods instead of the steam workshop, or am I stuck with the workshop?
