wow and i thought i was bitter about the bugs and issues of skyrim.

I played at 180 damage for swords with paralyze and soul trap and felt that it was much too powerful. Honestly, anything over 100 would be enough to breeze through the game if youve got decent blocking and armor.

Skyrim is very poorly optimized however i can not understand why you would be losing so much fps unless some dungeon texture are being rendered at your test location. Are you measuring your fps in the exact same position and angle? Also, what is your fps with out either mods?

I highly recommend nexus mod manager. I will make your life so much easier if or when you need to un-install or update mods.

what is the size of your most recent game save?

As far as i know there is nothing you can do to make skyrim use all 8 GBs of ram. Even with LAA flagged in the most recent patched its rare for your system to even reach 4GB much less more. its why theres no reason to have more than 8gb or ram unless youre doing some serious multitasking- extra unused ram is just wasted.

might be irrelevant but what is the file size of your most recent saved game? If it isnt overly large i would imagine its something with your system and likely not an issue with mods unless you were really careless with their installation.

was hd1.2 the only graphical mod you were using? i experienced the blue crystaline trees before because i incorrect installed lush trees along with vurts flora mod. i would recommend using nmm to do your installations if you havnet already.

skse will automatically use 4gb mod, however, with the most recent patch LAA was flagged into the tesv.exe so there is no reason to use 4gb mod anymore.

i was able to convert mp3 into xvm and i placed it in the correct location in my music folder but everytime the game attempts to play it, i get CTD. CTD as well sometimes just loading the game.

this month. also, what are your guys' save game file sizes? i wonder if making so many custom modifications could affect file size and in turn performance.

I recently encountered persistent CTD when ever trying to enter bthardamz lower district. It turns it out was my follower and my 2 thralls causing the issue.

i just starting getting ctd. this pc is just 2 months old. the issue for me is when ever the game decides to make an auto save before or after entering a new area , i would ctd and be left feeling somewhat despondent at beth's game programming. i was able to fix the issue by deleting the auto save file that was causing the ctd.
