  1. I figured out what my problem was. Using Wrye Bash, I discovered the masters for a mod were listed out of order. After a quick fix by TessEdit V, everything appears to be functioning properly, except for my now defunct hairline.
  2. I seem to be missing face textures for a new character. I have 2 male nords and 6 (or 7) female nords that have purple faces, I have not checked any other races. The new character vanilla presets have purple faces but the eyes and hair are normal. I have validated the files. I loaded up all my files in TESS5Edit to see if anything was modifying Skyrim.esm there but nothing is. I am out of hair to pull out and would appreciate any help.
  3. I realize this is an old thread. I have ENBoost installed with FPSlimit=58.6 and EnableFrameLimiter=true. However, my FPS will randomly start to climb and reach 400+fps. I am running wrapper of version 434 (474 causes CTD's on login). Any ideas? I did not have this problem until I upgraded from Win7 to Win10. I did update the DX9 dll's but that had no effect.
  4. If you have both SSE and LE installed, ensure your shortcut is directed to the SSE version and not the LE one. I have done that one before. Edit: Forgot a word.
  5. I set off the swinging door trap in Bleakfall Barrow on purpose (after a save) to see what would happen. Knocked my health to 0 without registering any damage but put me on my knees. Once I took a potion I was able to heal. My problem appears to have been caused by a mislabeled and potentially goobered up mod which I replaced and started over. Not sure how the author did what they did though. Thanks for replying.
  6. Is there a global variable or command (other that TGM) that would increase the effectiveness of all armor types (by a factor of 100 or so) and all spell effects (including enchantments)? While I am not a fan of dying, I would like to take some damage so I could raise my restoration skill.
  7. When starting a new modded game, the armor rating is ridiculously high. For example, iron armor has a rating of 1184. Using TESV edit I checked all the values and they are normal. Any idea what could cause this? Edit 1. I noticed that this jump happened after I either saved (sometimes) or created something (Alvor's dagger). I did not check it when I left the tunnel and watched Alduin fly off. Edit 2. i have noticed that enchantments are incredibly high values (for starting) and spell output damage is also very high. Is there a field/setting that would cause this or something like it?
  8. UglyWife87- Put your search word(s) in as normal then search. Above the list of mods in the left corner is an opportunity to "Refine Results". Click on that and you can then set different filters.
  9. It would be much easier to read your mod load order if you would please export it from LOOT, then copy/paste it using Spoiler tags. With my memory, by the time I get to the bottom of your list I have forgotten half of what I read, lol. It sucks getting old. However, I did notice that you are using the High Res Texture Pack DLC but not using the bug fix patch for it located here. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31255 That might help. Also with your other texture mods you can see if they have to have a patch for that DLC.
  10. I am having the problem Do a manual download to your desktop then add using the red plus sign in the top left corner of NMM.
  11. It means they are part of the patch which will load them as a part of the patch and will not count against your 255 mod limit.
  12. Try this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33526 ShowRaceMenu Precache Killer.
  13. The ones that were patched should have a green plus sign + in the box.
  14. Thanks a lot, works as advertised. Now if I can just figure out how I managed to change that in the first place I will be happy.
  15. I have sMainMenuMusic=1 in my skyrim.ini but I am not getting any music on main page. I am however geting the appropriate sound when I make a selection (Continue, load game, new game etc). Is there another setting I am missing or am I the proud owner of a "special feature"?
