  1. Another observation... On a XP system... I found out that some animation movies were missing or out of sight. I looked carefully on the CDs, then in the movies menu and never found two of the missing animations. Excuse my lack of memory but I remember only one: MW_MENU.BIK. That would explain those suddent crashes after the intro movie (when screen goes dark then it comes back to desktop); if such an important file is not present or unrecognised by the game because of that NTFS system, no wonder why it creates such havok... I do not know if I am the only one with that problem but it would not hurt if you all check that little point and if necessary find a remedy to this. With 2 Gigs of RAM, Morrowind should be able to handle itself quite well even with all the mods (matched one!) selected. With my 1 Giga oldy, I could do it under Windows Me without major crashes (most of the time my fault because I did not think of saving games often enough). I think some genius here could find a remedy to all that jazz or Bethesda should give us those missing files they made cloaked (???).
  2. Hi Robin! Thanks for all the help. I am looking forward to be a good participant. Recently, I was looking at my Vaardenfel map and I remarqued that most of the expansion mods are in the southern, eastern or south-western regions. I have tried lots of mods but never found one that creates a big Island in the Sea of Ghosts which who could have been a very good spot for those Daedras, Vampires or Squelettic creatures with lots of undergrounds and Dungeons shaped like giant skulls or demon heads, maybe even aerial cities of Aedric ghosts. Isn't that a good idea to exploit that location a little further? Here's other ideas... About scales... ========= When inside of a building, ceilings should be higher, especially when in a palace. Maybe someone knows how to rescript those scales??? About beautification... ============== Why should Altmers (Hi-Elves) reside into mushrooms? That kind of construction would fit a wood elf much better and would diversify its habitat a lot more (civilized Bosmers live in mushrooms and wild Bosmers prefer marsh trees). Hi-Elves by their pompous nature would prefer more a Crystal city with some kind of very advanced architecture, almost futuristic with teleporter pads looking like almost flat diamond shapes. Aerial cities should be made of the same glass as armors or the same metal as Aedric armors or again maybe a mix of both. Dunmers (Dark Elves) should prefer ebony home with golden magical, kabalistic textures if they are civilised. On other hand, Ashlanders are the only one among Elves that are rightly fit to their wild environment. The mechanical and metallic world of the Disappeared Dwarves is A-OK but there is no living version of that race. How about alive, caverns dwelling Dwarves of another kind, mostly into hi mountains with well preserved technologies (inoxydable Titanium or Mythrill maybe?). Windows should be transparent (so you can see inside!) and NPCs should see you come by or going in. How about races... ============ Magical Fays should be a must in Morrowind and to save time and memory space, they should be made out of only rescaled Nord females and only red haired or blondes for more realism. Wings should be transparent and like butterfly wings. They would be helpful, especially for informations and magical stuff to exchange or sell. Well, that is all I can think at this moment but be sure I will have more ideas to bring up...
