thanks to both ya'll. Fingers Crossed it is just Arefu Exampanded mod being wonky. I moved the arefu radio esp under and next to esp. i think the esp is just a radio station. put meresti is now under both arefu mods. not many crashes outside of the arefu area... it was every 2 minutes around arefu I did the whole main quest from megaton to rivet city no crashes.

So I have Fallout 3 and added FOSE and used two updaters one ESm patcher and anniversary patcher. was running multiple mods no issues. Suddenly around Arefu game is crashing just when walking around. Bethesda games tend to crash for me when travelling fast or saving. A) I have autosave turned off. B) the wierd this is after each crash.. I have to reset my Sneak key to C and turn off autosave again. I know these questions get asked ALOT. and I'll take any "Go read this, idiot" links.. thanks to anyone who took the time to read this. *Big Bummer -- I am waiting on hearing back IRL if I got into a program to become therapist, and iwaiting on test results to see if my health problem is no big deal or BIG SCARY DEAL. and I've had trouble finding a distraction. F03 was working to distract me after Fallout Series. sad emoji

I guess my question would be.. behind a lot of those locked doors are they actually anything there? Cyberpunk is what it is. Its a good game. But it would be so cool if the modding community could mod the FFFF out of it like people have with bethesda's games. I can't recall the new vegas mod that added all the interiors (it may be called NV interiors) but a mod like that would probably be needed. I assume you go through a lot of locked doors you may find either no interior... or an empty room.

So I played the crap out of stardew valley a few years ago. modded the cellar and the kid's room. I reloaded the old save and it works just dandy with a few mods. but think I modded the cellar and the kids room... I have some inaccessible areas filled with kegs. luckily the game still works and i have been working on secret notes and stuff.... but it would be cool to figure out what mods I used. I have since changed computers.... so I have no clue what I used.

so when it says the .esm is missing, i don't need it? if it works without it...cool. i am used to seeing "missing files" stuff that morrowind works without.. just loathe to start up brand new TR game and find out I need tr_data.esm not tamriel_data.esm

I seem to have fixed it. I think when I did a setstage command suggested on steam that I cannot now find. it involved prid and preston garvey. for future reference, what text file lists all your mods? I thought it would be in an .ini and can't find where it is. I had no settlemnt attacks and unintalling that took the preston garvey setstage command. grr that I I can't find it for the next person who might have this issue but that worked. not instanly. I was pissed, did not think it worked, took in game rest, was about to do something else, and garvey just walked up and was like "WASSSUP! QUESTS!" I paraphrase. thanks jimmy for reply

I don't know which mod I have that disabled minuteman quests or if I even have it downloaded. But, yes I must be insane, I have been clearing settlements and then having no settlers come. I would like the radiants again. no I am not insane. yes, the radiant quests in the past made me want to blow my brains out. but after tenpines.....something broked. any ideas welcome.

well, a month later. 26 views. well now 27. I have same problem. just used DDu to uninstall drivers and start a do over. actually a bit worse.

I think it is pretty sad that 3 threads related to this rainbow topic were posted and so far no help offered. maybe I have nostalgia glasses on but I used to ask arcane and very odd questions about morrowind and was amazed at how many people lept up to help. it was awesome. I was very touched. seriously, the rainbow issue is killing me. I uninstalled all drivers for radeon. started over from scratch. no clear answer online.

I would love to see a mod that lets you retake the parts of the park that you let raiders take over. It makes sense they would start with them but if I turn against them and wipe them off the map they would eventually give up those areas. I would even donate to paypal for a mod like this.

I have perused the player home mods but did not see a one yet that did what underground hideout did for f03 and FNV, which was create an armory. a) has anyone found one? b) any plans to make one?

I don't follow on the synth component. you mean they had synth armor on? or that somehow the game replaced settlers with synths? I did a head count at A farm. all 7 alive. so...yeah. I tend to not arm my settlers very often. I use a lot of turrets. and i thought the game warned you of any attack.

So first off. I have everything in the white. my major problem settlements are Abernathy and Sanctuary. For like the 9 settlers I have at each I have food/water/power/defense/bed all well above 9. Secondly, when I have seen the exclamation point denoting that the happiness is dropping, I have gone and a) built shops and assigned them b) built TVs or jukeboxes and strung up lights and thrown down rugs. Usually setting up a new store stops the Sad. But not this time. This gets really old. how do you keep the dreeaded exclamation point away?

yeah, i am kind of surprised more attention has not been garnered by this issue. maybe it is fixed and I am just doing something wrong but like greygarden has everything in white, has not been attacked, no fataliites, but happiness is going down.

So I see a lot of fog lately it seems. It looks like this... So is this weather? or game fog? or glitch? or am I losing my eyesight?

So I had installed some mods like valkerie's face and other mods that affected the meshes and textures of npcs anyway, I hated the "prettied up" version of cait/. I uninstalled every mod that altered people. and I deleted the meshes/textures in the data files that had to do with actors. But cait still looks like a runway model. I cannot figure out how to fix this.

So I finished main quest. never got around to covenant and now it is bugged and a) thinks I did safe test and b) can't do quests... i was hoping a mod or patch fixed this...has anyone heard of one?

problem disappeared, and now it seems to be back. no change in system or mods. wierd. i had no save corruptions for like 3 days.

first, adding morrowind rebirth, tamriel rebuilt, all the LGNPC, and Ules farm at same time was insane. but I love this save game. for some reason, every few saves, manual saves, the game decides it hates the last 2 or 3 saves and they always crash. it tends to happen when I am saving more frequently. so I play for long time, then after awhile, my last couple of saves crash the game. maybe just 1 but never more than 4. and then the next one works. fine. and the game works fine. and I use wrye bash to that save just in case. and eventually, the crashing saves happen again. ' this is a real bummer. anyone ever have anything remotely similar? I have had times when saves after a specific mod or specific point would never work right. the save was corrupted. but it seems something keeps happening that eventually corrupts my saves.

So I had a broke down rescued slave. and a million spells. but no heal companion. player->addspell heal companion would not add. I said, oh well, and marked the spot, went and got spell, and came back. then I found that Morrowind rebirth removed boat driven by gals arethi, I could have walked the slave to molag mar. But I literally just spent 70 minutes keeping this slave alive. I tried placeatpc gals arethi 1,3,1 said that old gals could not be found. I looked at ree-jah and he had a million zeros after his name. anyway, why can't you addspell that spell? it is listed as heal companion. I promised to donate at my local temple for cheat coding it in, but I was in the middle of nowhere and the slave would not drink potions.

reading the description, I think I am gonna power through the Hlaalu quests to get a stronghold. see if that works.

I found the resource better bookshelves. I downloaded buy a house because it says it uses it. It may but not in balmora house. seriously, I just want a mod that lets me story all my books. I know tel uvirith mod does, but I am not telvanni. the public library mod is cool, I am down with public knowledge..but I want my OWN library. any suggestions on the right mod?
