  1. I wonder if someone could also change the fists of steel perk to work with the stormcloak officer's gauntlets, which show some pretty mean spikes/blades on your knuckles but are classified as light armor.
  2. The Stormcloak Officer's Gauntlets are currently classified as light armor, but the mesh/model for them has three big bladed spikes on each fist, which would make them perfect for a character specializing in unarmed combat using the fists of steel perk. Would it be possible to make them into heavy armor, or apply their appearance to something like daedric gauntlets, so that the player can benefit from the fists of steel perk while using them?
  3. Personally I think the next installment of the Elder Scrolls series should be a combination of Black Marsh, Elsweyr, and Valenwood - as far as I know, all three areas border on one another south of Cyrodiil, and I'm really eager to get a look at Elsweyr as a Khajiit player =P
  4. Yea, but my mage became very boring to play once I could indefinitely dual-cast wall of fire at everything =P
  5. Awesome, any idea what the item codes for the redguard sword (the scimitar/sabre) and the boots are?
  6. Agreed, this is probably one of the most needed graphical alteration mods right now. Funny thing, I have a khajiit light warrior style character (light armor, combat focused) that dual wields daggers, and at one point my game glitched and showed both of my daggers sheathed (one on my right side, and one on the front of my left leg where it normally is). Unfortunately I havent been able to reproduce that bug, and as soon as I unsheathed my weapons it was gone.
  7. I'm no modder, but it seems like it might be possible to replace the "Conjure familiar" spell with a new model for the familiars (by default they're ghost wolves), mud crabs in this case.
  8. Seconding this as well. I like using dual daggers, but as a combat character rather than a stealth character (just like how it looks, and the animations are better than dual sword/axe/mace animations).
  9. One of the dark brotherhood NPCs in the game, Nazir, wears red-colored hammerfel garb, including a red hammerfel hood. He also wields a scimitar. I'd like someone to make a mod that allows the red hammerfel garb as well as scimitars to be purchased from an early NPC or puts them in the game world where they can be looted early on.
  10. Read the in-game book "The Armorer's Challenge", it details an argonian blacksmith who equips his champion with scale armor and a Spear. Spears have a history in the elder scrolls lore, they've just never been added to the game for some stupid, idiotic reason.
  11. Khajiit doesnt like where this is going.
  12. I play a conjuration mage, have gotten to 100 and filled out the perks for the conjuration tree, but one thing I was really disappointed with is the selection of 'thrall' spells available (spells which summon a creature that only disappears if it dies, rather than being on a time/duration limit). I was also disappointed to find out that Dead Thrall can only be used on 'people' and not on draugr or other creatures. So, anyone up for giving this a shot? 1. Familiar Thrall: Conjures a ghost wolf/familiar without a limited duration. 2. Dead Thrall: Able to reanimate more than it currently does, including animals/creatures and Draugr. 3. Werewolf Thrall: Conjures a werewolf with no duration limit.
  13. Khajiit male and female romance/marriage options >.>
  14. Hopefully this is possible without the construction set being released yet. Basically, I have an issue with atronachs, particularly the frost and storm atronachs when used in enclosed dungeon areas. Normal sized 'human' companions are hard enough to get around, but when you've got two frost atronachs blocking the way there's really nothing you can do. Now, I havent seen all of the models in the game yet, so if there are better replacements than what I've got suggested below please feel free to throw them out here. Flame Atronachs -> Spriggans Frost Atronachs -> Werewolves, Ice Wraiths, or Draugr Storm Atronachs -> Dragon Priests? Not sure what else would fit them
  15. Would be interesting to replace summoned frost atronachs with the ice wraith model, if possible...
  16. I'm relatively new to modding, I played around with the construction kit a bit in morrowind but havent done anything with oblivion or skyrim yet. So, the question at hand... Is it possible to swap models for NPCs in the game with other NPC models that already exist, and if so how do you go about doing that? Specifically what I'm trying to do is swap out the Frost/Flame/Storm atronachs for something less... bulky. I'd like to replace flame atronachs with the spriggan models, frost atronachs with werewolves, and storm atronachs with perhaps draugr or dragon priests or something, havent really decided what just yet.
