I for one do not like Oblivion's incredibly boring, bland, and generic atmosphere. Cyrodil is supposed to be a jungle but they chose to defy their own canon in favor of a more boring game. Are there any mods that revive the jungle setting or at least make it more interesting than a generic fantasy forest?

Looking forward to this mod. I think I would prefer you to make your own textures (with the sharpen effect) rather than use "vanilla" textures. What exactly do you mean by "or base my textures on popular mods already released.", Do you mean you would edit textures from other mods?

I'm liking the Falmer idea. I would love to be able to get a full set in the style of their cool bows and shields.

Two questions. None of the forums seemed to fit these questions so I decided on "general". I apologize in advance if this is the wrong place. How does one turn shadows off in interiors? I changed three values to 0 and it completely removed the aweful-looking things outdoors and significantly increased my FPS. Unfortunately when I go into interiors my FPS drops due to un-immersive low-quality shadows still being displayed but only in specific places like near the entrance to the Jarl's palace or in light beams while underground. My Argonian is a very bland brownish color, how would I edit his appearance without borking up his skills with showracemenu?

Skyrim for me has been extremely laggy over time. When I first started my new game it ran fine on medium with AA on and a couple view distances maxed out but now when I am outside it lags to the point of being too unplayable for me even with textures on medium and everything else on low despite the fact that the launcher recommended medium settings. I have turned vsync off with the nvidia control panel and changed some minor things in the ini file and the only mods I am using are a couple of Xenius's mods and the Killable Childs mod (with the essential patches). I am wondering if it it could be save game bloat. I will post my specs in a moment but I seem to remember a website scanning my specs and saying the game would run fine on my computer, just less than recommended settings.
