Never mind. Found a note re: a glitch. Will try that resolution. I am trying to remove clothing from existing outfits from other mods leaving just the shoes/boots for mix/match. I add the bones for physics to the CBBE body and save the boots as a new project to be added to a new esp for my own use. When I go into a crouch wearing the boots I sometimes see what appears to be the inside of my face totally blocking part of my vision. If I get out of the crouch or remove the boots everything seems to be normal. I have stripped wearing just the boots and still get the vision impairment. What might I be running into, please?

Somewhere along the road a mod treated me badly and disposed of my supermutant body meshes (ugly exclamation point). I have taken everything from Strong and all he has left is a head with the top cut off. I have verified file integrity with 1 file reacquired and that did not help. 1. Short of reinstalling, is there way the recover those meshes? 2. If I reinstall, will that screw up NMM and any mods I have installed? Thanks

Thanks for the rather disappointing news. At least you solved the EFF.esp quandry.

Trying to reload an old save after mod revamp and get the message about missing plugins giving the name of the plugin. Is there an easy way to identify what mod a plugin goes to, such as EFF.esp, or even a more difficult way short of opening each zip file until I find it?

That looks good, but I still need paper and pencil to make a list. Would be great to have access to this at Goodneighbor, Diamond City, Bunker Hill as well as at settlememts.

There are several good Inventory mods out, however, I have yet to see one that sums all resources contained in all the junk you have scattered across the Commonwealth. If I go to modify a piece of armour I can see how much adhesive, leather, steel, cloth, etc. I have on hand and what is required for the modification, but what I would like is a mod that I could consult that would tell me how much of every resource I have on hand so I can see that I need oil or fibre optics or cloth, etc. That way when I go to a merchant I can easily see what I should be shopping for. A companion to this might be to auto-build a list of resources where less than <nn> are in stock. I could then quickly and easily consult my 'shopping list' and shop smarter and easier. If this already exists, can someone point me to it, please.

It must have been made already though I can't find one. I'm talking about the crossed belts Mexicans are frequently shown wearing in the old western movies. Were they called bandolier belts, something like that? https://www.amazon.com/Kangaroo-Army-Bullet-Belt-Bandolier/dp/B01A62GBVS/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1476585305&sr=8-2&keywords=bandolier+belt

How many people remember eating a great meal at a hotel? Probably close to zero. And do you know why? Because hotels try to cook so all of their guests can eat there. Hence, relatively bland meals. The same is happening to TES. Rather than building an awesome game for a particular clientele, they tried to maximize sales by creating a game that appealed broadly. Unfortunately, in doing so, the product is growing stale quickly because there is so little spice. With Oblivion, modders stepped up with some truly awesome offerings, from Hoarfrost and Glenvar Castles to The Lost Spires and Tears of the Fiend and Kvatch Rebuilt and on and on and on. This has yet to occur with Skyrim. The delay of the CS release didn't help and snappy graphics only go so far. And another thing, I'm always freezing and blinded by snow.

I decided to start a new game w/ a new character to see what would happen and guess what. No stutter. I definitely think it is in the save game, possibly ABomb related?

The reverse Q almost is always asked, but I can't say I've seen this one too frequently. Do girls play girl or boy characters? And why? I'm a guy and have played both ways, female in less barbaric roles and after the mods catch up. Not much effort is given beefcake mods.

I have the same problem, momentary hiccups where the screen stops refreshing and then suddenly responds to your mouse movement. When panning side to side, rather than a smooth movement it is jittery. I have seen this indoors, outdoors and in the ladies pantry. I have also noticed it when in a menu such as inventory or save/settings. I doubt it is a GPU (AMD HD 6900 Series) or CPU (Intel i5-2500K @ 3.30 GHz) problem (the cpu never goes above 35-40%). I have also noticed that SR never seems to use more than about 2.5 gb of my 16 gb RAM even when set at ultra. I consistently run between 30 and 45 fps on ultra with all fades maxed out. Even set at low, though my fps goes way up, there is still an occasional hiccup, even in menus. I sure wish someone would come up with the solution. Edit: Tried Clean Boot, no mods, couldn't find "Preemptivelyunloadcells" var. Is it just me or did this seem to get worse with the last update?

This one should be a snap. How about a chest that a player could buy the key for to store items (dragon scales and bones? which are heavy)? If there were a way to limit the contents to, say 100 lbs or 25 items, or some such, it would be even more realistic. One could purchase the key from the Inn proprietor for a reasonable sum, say your level squared (level 4 x level 4 = 16 and level 40 x level 40 = 1600). This could also be on a rental basis, say 5 levels from time of purchase with the rate adjusted each renewal time. Items would not be thrown out, but new items could not be added and all items would be added to inventory if rent not renewed, i.e., "take your stuff and get out if you're not going to renew." Now that I added the extras, maybe it won't be a snap. Snap

I equipped mine with solar cells and wind turbines to power the interior heating elements. A little brandy helps, too.

Geirmund's Hall - Missing amulet fragment
Lifferds replied to ZombieInfected's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I resolved this with the following console tweaks: player.additem 0002d753 1 I believe that is the correct code, I didn't write it down. setstage dunGauldursonQST 100 I had the other two fragments but couldn't get the third from Geirmund's Hall. Quest Stages will tell you what you need to set your quest stage to depending on where you are. This will provide the missing fragment and update the quest. -
Probably so, but why did I buy this video card if all the distant lands, less wildlife and such, are always so hazy and blurred, unlike in real life.

Walking is so torcherously slow that I usually run, ride a horse if I think I might need to haul a lot of loot or take a cart/carriage. I never fast travel other than carts and never wait, either.

As beautiful as Skyrim is, it is a shame that the distant lands are always obscured by a haze. I would like to see just one typical clear day at high elevations where the air is crisp and cold without any humidity and the sky is absolutely clear and you can see deer five miles away and trees twenty. I understand that snow will obscure everything, but after the blizzard frequently comes a blindingly clear day when you can see forever. Is this planned in an overhaul somewhere?

I get frustrated when I go to the Forums from Files and browse for a while and the want to go back to the Files section. I haven't found a quick link to go back so I either open a new window or just keep going back, back, back.... I know, I know I should open in a new tab, but I'm not always at peak performance. Any possibility of adding a quick link back to the Main Nexus page?

Well, I have, left to right: Action Log Track File Report File Required Files Permissions and Credits Contact Uploader Aha, the uploader must be disallowing images as that miniscule icon is missing, but I see it on a mod with images.
-
I would like to upload an image for a mod; however, I can find no way to attach it to the specific mod. If I use the add image link in the list at the bottom, I can upload the image, but it is just kinda in the library and doesn't show in the mod user images. Is this capability limited to only certain users (I am registered and logged in)? Am I missing a link? Are there instructions somewhere I don't know about? Frustrated and Thanks, Tom

It seems the more I try to whittle down my honeydew list, the longer it gets. How many quest lines did Bethesda build into this monster? I'm going to grow old, well even older, with this game.

I agree tanning leather is lame. Since when do you get 8 wgts of leather from a 3 wgt sabre cat pelt? Also in alchemy, mixing butterfly wings with flower petals and suddenly you have a .5 wgt bottle of juice?. How can you possibly sneak with all those bottles of stuff you are lugging around clanking against one another. I guess they didn't know about drying and powders back then. SPOILER alert: How about entities that won't leave their cell, such as the Centaur Guardian in Mzinchaleft. Should have been a tough fight, but a piece of cake because it won't follow you back through the door. Modders to the rescue.

Dittos on the incredible world. Did a little rock climbing from Orphan Rock clockwise around High Hrothgar (trying to find the way in) and some of the panoramas from cliff sides is incredible. That also says it all as to the freedom of movement. Nowhere is off limits as long as the slope isn't too steep and the doors are not locked tight. There are definitely some mods to be made. Too many clipping issues, horses disappearing under you, stuttering, etc. to be considered world class. My old NVidia 9600 card barely gets by on Medium with freezes for region reload, I presume. The combat is a huge improvement, indeed. It is obvious Bethesda was looking at the TES IV mods, as they incorporated many into Skyrim. All in all, a Huge thumbs up.

Tried floating down the Black River from Ft. Amol to Winterfell. Quite a ride. Took a little damage on one waterfall but the catch basins are all deep enough to prevent crashing on rocks. Fast, too, especially if you're overburdened. Caught a few fish and some darters along the way. River currents are kind of screwed up though as the water seems to want to push you towards one bank. Interesting to look underwater coming into a falls and see how Bethesda made them. May want to try the big falls above the Ft. Amol bridge after I get my health up a bit. That one should prove fun.
