About Bullseye83

  1. I know, it's just that I hate reinstalling. Anyway, Disk has now been formatted and will install win7 shortly. If this does nothing, I think I'll just put my old gear back in, lol .
  2. I do use a set of ENB settings, but no SSAO. Anyway, I ran it all ok the way it is on my old rig. It makes no difference running Skyrim dead stock either, with all mods ini tweaks etc disabled. Also tried a reinstall of skyrim to no avail. :/
  3. I'm having exactly the same problem with my new rig: Shitty fps Hopefully we'll get it sorted out....
  4. Do you mean that SKSE dll thingy? yeah, it was downloaded when released, thanks though (: I'm not using the 4GB patch anymore as patch 1.3.1 took care of that.
  5. Hi guys, Hope somebody out there has experienced this one..... My old rig: Q9550 @ 3.7 Ghz 4 GB DDR2 RAM @ 1166 MHz HD6870 1 GB Played Skyrim at high\ultra 1920x1200 16xAF 2xSSAA + a shitload of mods. Mostly outdoors I got 30-40 in day times (Outside Riften, 20ish) New rig: i5-2500k @ 5.0 GHz 8 GB DDR3 @ 1600 MHz HD6870 1 GB ( I know, it's kind of a bottleneck :P, but my second card just give me headaches once enabled in Skyrim) MSI Z68A-GD55 Same settings as before, but now I'm lucky if I reach 30 fps.... 10-15 is not unusual... WTF !!!!!??? The only thing I can think of is my Windows 7 installation. I did a fresh installation to my blank SSD with a different mobo. Story was I had ordered an Asus board with my i5, but had to RMA it as it turned out it didn't support my GPU. So now, with the new MSI board, I just plugged in my SSD with its "old" windows installation and updated all drivers for the board GPU etc. Do I really need to reformat? 3dmark 2011 is giving me a healthy score of P-8500 in crossfire and P-4400 in single gpu mode. Help :S EDIT by LHammonds: Banned for use of vulgar language in the thread title.
  6. Hi folks ! After switching to beths official 4gb update, I need to start the game via the launcher. I'm using my own custom ini settings, which worked fine with the 4gb launcher. But now, every time I start TESV.exe, that freakin launcher autodetects hardware and f**ks up the ini file and I have to copy-paste the file again !! :wallbash: Is there a way to disable this evilness ? Thanks.
  7. A real PITA when the ini files are tweaked beyond recognition though :/ I've been able to keep mine, just editing the mouse stuff. Hopefully I'll not encounter anything else....
  8. For the mouse sensitivity issue. Did some searches in the skyrim.ini and came up with these parameters: fMouseHeadingYScale=0.0100 fMouseHeadingXScale=0.0200 Bumped my Yscale up to 0.7000 and seems to work ok now. No idea if it will be affected by fps scaling though.
  9. Well done bethesda, my mouse y axis is now totally f**ked up..thanks a lot ! :wallbash: Is there any of the mousesettings in the skyrim.ini that controls sensitivity?
  10. Ordered my 120 GB SSD today 8) With all the high resolution goodies that's put into Skyrim right now, my HDD is really struggling to keep up! The HDD LED has become my power LED xD Can't even turn around anymore without it stuttering like crazy... I'll post my experience once I get it up and running :)
  11. How did I miss this in my searches I wonder... Looks great ! Unfortunately, at level 32 a restart is not an option for me. Gonna download it for later use though, thanks !
  12. First off, thanks to all for making such great mods for this epic game !! So, how come Arnold Schwarzenegger still is not in the game? How about a Arnold skin (Conan) for your playable character, is that possible? xD And some taunts would also been awesome....
