  1. but then wouldn't it be beter to increase the polies? i have been trying to increase them but i cant T-T
  2. gah!!!! i am so close and i have no idea what i did wrong, the parts of the dragonscale armor i had were all screwy, the chest piece, near it's botom, was twisted, and a upper arm guard looked like it was almost peeled off.
  3. i watched the basic tutorial videos and it doesn't mention anything about conforming one mesh to layer over another mesh
  4. ok, i ended up finding out how to do all that, now i need to know how the heck do i change the chest armour so the it confourms withe the body mesh!? (by this i mean make it so the chest armour looks like it is suppose to be on a female)
  5. i found out how to delete stuff but now i cant find property link 1!!!
  6. i am using 3Ds Max to try to edit armour but i dont know how to delete the parts of the armour i don't want, how do i do this??
  7. yeah that is what i was trying for. but whats an alpha layer? and how does it work?
  8. Ppl have told me i need more details so here it is. first i put numbers on the armour so i could tell what piece went where, it worked fine. then i went and deleted al the scale portion by using paintbrush to turn them all black like the background. then i went and put it into the data/texture/armour/dragonscale. then i opened skyrim and then i hit the continue button and the armour had not changed at all.
  9. I NEED HELP!!! I have been using GIMP and a BSA extractor to get the texture files out, but when i modified the Armour, other than color changes, i get the default Armour and not the version i modified, i put the files in the correct place so what the hack am i doing wrong??? ex: i deleted all the scales on the dragonscale Armour and the scales still showed up.
