I've done just about every drug under the sun, legal and illegal. There's no such thing as a natural drug. Drugs/Meds, what have you, are things that have manipulated on a chemical level. You know ,water, baking soda, gasoline, stir it together. I don't know the recipe. What I do know is that it's the recipe to disaster. Pot on the other hand, that's not bad. St. John's wart, it is also not bad and has been proven (By a lot of folks that have taken, including me) to cure moderate depression and insomnia. My suggestion is to examine your life. If there's something jacked up in it, fix it. Have a well balanced diet. Exercise. Read a good book then take a nice hot shower or bath before bed. Epson salt. If you're not quite there, put some head phones on and listen to some soft music. I'm particularly fond of Debussy. And, really good, candles. I prefer the bath and bodyworks black currant vanilla. s***, their whole line. Stuff smells AMAZING: black currant vanilla . Added bonus, you have a main squeeze or somebody you working up on, they dig it. I've spent way too much time with the doctors. They usually miss diagnose stuff. So, unless you live in a country that has free health care, I'd just sort the stuff out alone. And smoke a bowl.

Just like there's sleep, H2O, food... is it possible to make something like sanity? Things like booze, seeing a doc, chems, cigarettes or just a good night sleep would help? Certain creatures effect sanity or situations? Killing so many of an enemy increases resistance to sanity loss. Having high intelligence, or low. Certain stats high or low effect sanity differently. See where I'm going with this?

I've been looking into creating a new area, new quest line etc based at Fort Irwin and the city of Barstow right off the 15 in California. I am a new to modding and have came here to learn the craft. So, any terminology that is incorrect, or any questions I ask that have already been asked, my apologies. But to be honest, I don't have all the time in the world to hunt down answers through countless amount of pages on the forums, or googling my ass off with my lack of knowledge/jargon/ what have you.. Though I will try, I'm just not going to make any promises. I actually started this thread mostly for people, that are interested, throwing some ideas out there. Quest ideas, NPCs, etc. And for people that are really interested ,actually helping out with it. And for those that have the patience, putting up with a guy that will make mistakes and ask the occasional stupid question. Right now I'm just trying to flesh out the story while I fiddle with GECK. I currently have quite a bit of time on my hands seeing that I'm taking a semester off from college, doing volunteer work, getting drunk, smoking mota, shooting guns, shenanigans with Marines, and joy rides on my Vespa. I'm hoping I'll pick up on the inner workings of the GECK quickly. I'm going to throw some ideas out there, I'd like to hear input. Especially if it's even doable or not e.g. sanity points. Also, I've been playing quite a bit of JE Sawyer mod. Something I'd like to try and keep in place. Breakdown so far. I have a few ideas floating around. Pretty much you travel to Barstow first from Mojave outpost. Do a few things there, much like goodsprings, moving on to Fort Irwin for the majority of the content. I'm thinking three factions: A gang that, more or less, runs inner Irwin, another and neutral group that resides at bicycle lake army airfield, and the third, not too sure, thinking maybe Enclave remnants or some military force that occupies areas under Irwin. I'm going to read more up on Fallout lore before making a call. The airfield will have a radio station ran by a ghoul that plays a lot of rockbilly/psychobilly styled music for example X, Gun Club, Tiger Army, maybe even Guitar Wolf or anything off the Wild Zero soundtrack. I am dubbing this a "Jet rock'n roll" adventure. Also some country like Chet Atkins and Merle Travis. I don't think that's technically allowed but I'm kind of sick with the music that seems to be consistent in Fallout. I'm thinking of having Hunter S. Thompson as a Ghoul companion. He would have his own side quests. You will do a shitload of chems and drink a lot of booze. Cigarettes will be worth a damn. There would be a perk for it. I'm thinking of calling it bat country. You would not need wild wasteland. I'm thinking of adding aliens and two ladies that are "f*cking a polar bear*. And perhaps a quest involving the fetching of relic "Madonna's pab smear". And zombies. Maybe feral ghouls.... more zombies. Up in the air. And like the Dunwich building in FO3, some Cthulhu mythos. I would like to make this as weird and funny as possible, that and dark and gritty. I'll type up more later. Stuff mentioned above is what I know I'll be trying to do for sure... most likely... maybe. Other stuff I'm still letting it brew. s***.. whole thing still a brewing. Movies I suggest watching: Six String Samurai Wild Zero Where the buffalo roam Fear and loathing in Las Vegas Jacobs Ladder Maybe Ghost in the Shell. I'm thinking possibility of android in main quest line. And then of course check out the music mentioned above. I'm open to all suggestions/ideas. I would like this to be a zero negativity zone. Obviously I can't enforce it. Constructive criticism is welcomed. I want to make this awesome as possible. Thanks for the time. I look forward to hearing from you guys. Yeah, I learned today how much I hate when I ask someone a question, they give me an answer that did not answer my question at all. Further more, when I can tell that it has not occurred to them that their answer answered nothing. Or, that they answered a question that I didn't even ask them. Even worse, a question that only needs a simple yes or no. Instead, I get a sentence or two ad it doesn't remotely even touch my question. Not even in some kind of long winded hillybilly wisdom reminiscent zen buddhism, but retarded. Only to be shocked, but also humbled by the noble savage. With that being said, what I really learned is that, I don't find this stuff annoying because this is my transition period from being in the military for way too long to slacker civilian. No, this is my subconscious fervently rejecting everyday stupidity that is society. Think of the amazing technology we have today. Space ships, cellphones, medicine, cloning. The things we know. We are still wiping our asses with toilet paper made of trees. This is the best we can do? Alas, I digress.
