For the length of a game of Gwent, 10 crowns for a prize is nothing. I was hoping as the game progressed that players in wealthier cities would allow me to bet more (as in dice/arm wrestling in Witcher 2) but it seems to be a standard 10 regardless of location. I was hoping for a mod that would give some reason to continue playing Gwent other than to win the initial freebie card. Also a better AI would be sweet, I only ever struggled with two players and once i got the knack of Gwent each battle was a breeze.

I agree, there is one upgrade in game already but further upgrades would be awesome.

I solved the problem. If anyone has a similar problem the issue is in fact a mod. I went through my recently added mods and deactivated them one at at time. Luckily I got it on my 2nd try. For me it was http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33795/? Not the overhaul itself but the file below it called "Racial Traits Improved Dawnguard". I read another post of a user with the same problem. For him the issue was some hair mod. So random, seemingly unrelated mods, can affect the mounted combat.

I somewhat enjoy running around on my horse and whacking people with a two-handed attack. However, the mounted combat system glitched (again, about a year ago I got this exact same problem). The mounted combat system was working fine for my characters first 40 levels (relatively heavily modded) But suddenly the mounted combat glitched and now, as far as I can tell the normal target arrow in the center of the screen becomes the guide for whether you land an attack or not, just as when you are on foot. However it is not supposed to work like that, you should connect hits to the right or left of your horse depending on which click you used. This glitch makes it practically impossible to hit while mounted. I do not think it is a mod glitch, but it could be. It stopped working properly when I made a new character. The biggest mod I installed at that time was Helgen Reborn. I did verify the game catch, not sure if that had any possibility to fix the problem or not, but it didn't. Anyone have any Ideas? Or had this problem yourself?

My idea is simple, but the execution of it may not be so simple. The title probably gives it away. I know there is a mod that makes Riftweald Manor into a player home, however it completely breaks the thieves guild quest line. I am looking for a mod that will allow you to purchase the home after you kill Mercer Frey in the thieves guild quest line and perhaps have a few upgradeable options. I was always disappointed that you couldn't add a tunnel to the Thieves Guild from Honeyside (perhaps that is a mod idea as well, purchasable from Delvin just as the Dark Brotherhood upgrades are). I like the hidden passageways and rooms in Mercers house and think it is very befitting of a thief of Riften. Let me know your thoughts!

Those of us who love the Ancient Nord armor have loved the mod where the Iron pants are added to the bottom. However, when looking at Tsun's armor I thought that it would fit the bottom of the Ancient Nord armor in a much more appealing and pleasing way. I may be wrong but with a re-texture on Tsun's armor and a bit of work I think it could work perfectly. Let me know your thoughts and or if anyone is willing to give this a shot. Thanks!

I have never had trouble with Skyrim until yesterday after re installing it. I completely uninstalled it, and removed the remaining skyrim folder to be sure everything had been removed. Now i get to the launch page through steam and click play and it closes but the game does not pop up. I tried everything from verifying the integrity of the game cache (multiple times) to re-installing the game again. Now I think I found the issue but I don't understand what happened to cause it, or why verifying the game integrity did not fix it, or why re installing it does not fix it. When I try to launch the game from TESV it come up with an error 'C:\Windows\system32\xinput1_3.dll error. I downloaded a xinput1_3.dll (apparently to do with XBOX) and stuck it in the folder and tried running the game. It started right up however I had no mouse .ect. I have also tried re installing directx but it does nothing. So my question is where do I find a good xinput1_3.dll file for pc (my searches seem to come up with nothing but trash) and how did this happen, why wouldn't verifying the game integrity fix it, or re-installing it for that matter?
