  1. I never could get them to quit doing that, I always have the companion to wait.
  2. It makes me want to vote for Obama again....lol "Yes we can"......I bet his speeches can beat President John Henry Eden's, but he needs a teleprompter. ;)
  3. Kinda makes you think, in less than an hour, everything mankind has accomplished, learned, and fought for could be for nothing. I kind of hope that the US developed an alpha omega bomb just in case they don't end up being the victors like the movie "Beneath the planet of the ape’s movie". I rather have the earth be burned up into a cinder than let china win. After all "Better be dead than Red"...lol
  4. What is the power source for the pipboy's? I was deeply thinking about it a few days ago. Let’s say its nuclear battery powered, that has to be extremely dangerous considering the constant beating and thrashing that thing gets. Plus I don’t think having anything nuclear close to your body is good any ways. The fallout 3 nuclear anomaly perk would explain how the player could go nuclear after the health goes very low, the pip boy got damaged...lol ..It can't be solar powered since it works well in vaults for years....Then another idea popped in my head. A "micro-generator driven by the centrifugal forces created by the movements of the wrist", produces the electricity required. A sensor notices when the pipboy is not being used, and shuts down the liquid crystal display (LCD), yet at the slightest movement it perks up, showing the date and time and options. This makes way more sence it thats the case.
  5. Was thinking deeply about the fallout universe, and was thinking the United States government had to build some underground cities in the deepest caverns in the earth. This idea I came to me after I watched the movie "The city of Ember". Since the vaults were never designed to save anyone, then the US government had to have made plans for the selected elite to survive. So I have decided to make an underground city where the whole city is located in an underground cave powered by a deteriorating nuclear generator. The city's lights come from thousands of lamp bulbs hanging from the sealing just like the movie. It’s still in the working stage, but one thing I did different with this mod is that you can go in all buildings and rooms. You may need keys or good lock picking, but you will be able to get in. The new creatures I have been working on are a giant blind rat that can only sense movement for attacking, a huge six headed snake that the only way to kill it is to use “The sword of liberation”, basically a huge modded shishkebab. It cuts the snakes heads and cauterize its necks at the same time, so that why it’s going to be the only weapon to kill it. In one of the quest I have the overseer asking the loan wonder if he can find who or what has been plundering the remaining supply rooms....and guess what he finds in one of the storage rooms....lol Any ways I want to add at least 100 quests including side quests......With a good story line…..so I am coming to the forms for ideas on quests and story line ideas. Here is the movie trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOC8PdK9gSA
  6. One thing I thought was missing from fallout was a nice white nuclear winter.....like the clip from Eli move when he was hunting a Siamese cat for lip bomb...lol But I know in Fallout NV takes place hundreds of years after the great war, but still would be neat.
  7. I seen that show on the history channel. Most sky scrapers would fall from the lack of maintaince in less than 200 years....and in 10,000 years there wouldn't be a trace of humanity left....just forests and such. Love the history channel
  8. How many versions of the FEV virus are there? I got the impression that there is a total of 3 from all the fallout series.
  9. The enclave remind me of resident evil movie. Even though the umbrella corp killed like 99% of humanity from the earth, they still continued experiments on the 1% after the apoclopse. I wonder If they ever get the FEV virus right...lol
  10. I wish I grew up in the fallout universe.....would like to live in one of the fun vaults like 21, 69, or 77 with the puppets ....lol....... I always thought about what if there was a fallout game that the player wasn't from a vault......I wouldn't mind growing up with the enclave in a military instillation. I love all the propaganda that was on the radio in fallout 3. I have all the messages that President John Henry ever said memorized......I even have the fallout 3 radio messages playing in Fallout NV. "the values of our past shal be the foundation of our future." love that quote.
  11. Interesting.....didn't know that the Experiments where to see how people would do on other worlds.....May I ask where did they plan to colonize?
  12. Thanks for clearing that up....I Tried playing fallout 1 and 2 and couldn't seem to get into it. What was the reason the enclave did this though? I mean their highest priority should be to protect the pure bread Americans till they cleaned the mutant problem up with their version of fev. What is the point of doing these experiments after their world ended that endangered the last remaining pure blood Americans?
  13. Hmmm......I see what your saying.... I remember someone saying that not all vaults were experiments and that some had no function at all .... Like vault 17..... I do have a question though, before the war when the USA signed the safe house project that built these vaults, the government didn't have the cash to build them. They payed for them using junk bonds and private sector funds from vault tech stock. Is it possible that the government it self didn't know of the experiments? Who's to say that different companies bought their stake in vault tech and performed their own experiments. In the project safe house bill, no where did it say anything about experiments; the vaults were to protect people from nuclear war with china.
  14. Can someone list all the vaults function. I know each one had an evil experiment and would like to know from vault 1 to the last vault what each experiment was. I know the ones from the game fallout 3 and fallout nv.....is there any way to get the info of the rest?
