I just had another crash that seems to be unrelated to the first one. Here is part of the papyrus log.

Yea, I had the other one disabled. I'll look into sounds of skyrim, though.

I've seen that error before, but I have the esp disabled. When it was enabled, it caused an immediate ctd at the menu.

I've been trying for days to find the mod that is causing me to crash, but I've run out of ideas on what to do, so I've come here. here is my boss load order. I've also used papyrus to try and find what is causing the crash, but I don't know how to determine what it means. As you can see, it has something to do with xxxENCQuill. Does anyone recognize that? The CTDs seem to usually occur when I'm in combat if that helps at all. Thanks for any help!

I was recently looking for a fix to z-fighting, and came across the STEP project solution. When I got to the step about changing fNearDistance, I noticed that the line wasn't in my skyrim.ini. I have also had a problem with not seeing a line to change FOV in either ini file. Did a previous patch remove some of the ini options? If so, where can I find a way to change these (I do realize that I can change FOV ingame). Thanks for any help you give me. EDIT: I figured it out, disregard this post.
