  1. I'm running into an issue where most/all vampires show up with darkened heads (there is an obvious border at the base of the neck). I'm sure it's some conflict between mods, but I'm stumped as to which one(s). My load order is below; I use LOOT regularly and I think every mod has been cleaned with SSEEdit. Any thoughts? 0 0 Skyrim.esm 1 1 Update.esm 2 2 Dawnguard.esm 3 3 HearthFires.esm 4 4 Dragonborn.esm 5 5 Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.esp 6 6 SMIM-SE-Merged-All.esp 7 7 ExpandedJewelryCrafting.esp 8 8 Bijin Warmaidens.esp 9 9 AmazingFollowerTweaks.esp 10 a SofiaFollower.esp 11 b SGEyebrows.esp 12 c DibellasCompulsion-NudeSpell-1-1.esp 13 d Ophelia.esp 14 e DoubleBedsAreForTwoPeople.esp 15 f DoubleBedsVoicePatchSofia.esp 16 10 Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul.esp I'm 99% sure the problem existed prior to the last five on that list, but it was a fresh game and I rarely saw many bloodsuckers. ;) Matt
  2. So, I've been using mods for a few months now. I'm just a user and I'm sure no expert with even that, but I'm starting to find my way around some stuff. Anyway, here's the situation. I'm running two mods that directly affect the Whiterun area: Beautiful Whiterun (by MorninJerky) and Breezehome FullyUpgradable (by Sku11M0nkey). If I load BW before BFU, both seem to work okay. Whiterun gets all the lovely trees and stuff and Breezehome works as advertised (or at least seems to; I've only had it for a little while). Great. Except that every time I run LOOT, it wants to switch positions, which will obviously create problems. Is there a way I can force LOOT to ignore these two or to at least keep them in the order I want? I'm still experimenting with a lot of mods and LOOT has really been valuable in keeping my game working, so I'd like to keep using it going forwards.
  3. I've had Special Flora of Tamriel installed for a while now. It's currently abandoned, but it works well and I have no real complaints - I really liked the way it opened up the gardening options of Hearthfire. Anyway, although I'm not complaining, there were shortcomings in the mod - it was obviously a work in progress - and I'd like to move on to a more robust mod like kryptopyr's highly regarded Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul. However, the two don't seem to play well together. Loading CACO last breaks SFT's gardening while loading SFT last breaks CACO's MCM menu (and possibly other stuff; I'm not very familiar with the mod yet). Is there any way to get them working together? CACO's redo of the alchemy effects might make this impossible, but I thought I would ask just in case.
  4. I don't have SkyUI (yet), but would you care to mention what you're remapped? I swapped the action <e> with the jump <space>, but have noticed that it does sometimes not work quite right.
  5. Good point about the remapping not working the same in all modes. I'll have to play around a bit. I guess what I find counter-intuitive is that, if your left hand is over the WASD keys, your thumb is right on the space bar, making it an easy key press. But in the default map, the space bar is "jump", which I honestly don't do that often. For example, in combat, you might want to drop a shout on an enemy, but to do so, you have to move one or more of your fingers off the WASD. It also seems odd to me that the two <enter> keys don't map the same. The standard <enter> key is way out in the middle of nowhere while the number pad <enter> is right there by your mouse hand and, as far as I can tell, isn't used at all.
  6. I've been playing Skyrim since the midnight release, but all my hours (until a few days ago) were spent on the 360. Now I'm on the PC (so I can get me some mods!) and I've noticed that the default keys used seem very unintuitive to me. Obviously I could fiddle around with them myself until settling on something I like, but I would like to hear from people who've already been through the trials. On a related note, has anyone else swapped the left and right mouse buttons? It just seems weird to me to map the right arm onto the left mouse button.
  7. Hi everyone! Longtime Skyrim player, but I'm new to playing it on the PC. Just couldn't resist downloading the mods any longer! I've never done any modding before, so I watched gopher's vids on YouTube for direction: 1 - installed NMM - check 2 - install Quality World Map as a first mod - check 3 - install Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition patch - not so good! I'm working with patch version 3.0.2b and when I try to install with NMM, it fails with an error message of "System.OutOfMemoryException". I've tried uninstalling the map mod and trying again, but no luck. I've got nothing else installed. I had just downloaded the Legendary version of Skyrim just a day or two beforehand, so I'm pretty sure it's up to date. Any suggestions?
