So i need some help adding enchantments to new armors/items. So what ive got is a standalone retextured armor that can be crafted at a forge. However i cant take it to an enchanting table to add new enchaments to it(all the spells are greyed out). I know I am missing something basic but I'm new to modding. I've searched but all ive found is reference to an enchantment list.... so can anyone help and tell me how to get my items working at an enchanting table?

wondering if anyone would be willing to work on these helmets. I thought that these helms would be better than the stock skyrim models if tweaked a bit. The deadric helm has lopsided horns, phooie.. i think i would look much better if they were both the same length. The dragonplate helmet would look amazing without the dragonbones on the back and the guard helm would look much better without the top spike and coif. I am asking, hoping on the off chance someone feels the same way about these helmets and would be willing and able to work on them. I was having some difficulty with this too, follow this guide (make sure to add the textures\armor\another\nameof.dds) <-- this was my problem had to do it manually before it found it. Hopefully this helps http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/NifSkope/Change_texture

So yea, can modders import assets from oblivion into skyrim.. permission and yadda? I don't remember, but there was something about morrowind on this topic.

One of the best armors in the game (magic focused one) is purple. The ^ armor of Ysgith while unique has a questionable color choice. So is anyone is willing to "improve" this armor and release it.. plz Colors don't really matter, something that would fit in with other boots gloves and pants would be nice. http://img641.imageshack.us/img641/8951/2011060400009.jpg here is the armor in question..
