  1. Ok so I am very new new to modding, meaning I have read the CK tutorials and will be doing them soon. I want to create a follower that looks like the pretty(IMO) breton mage on the load screens. As far as I know there isn't a follower mod of her. I have a screenshot of slider bar that will look very like her, but I am wondering how I make a full standalone follower with UNP body type(including exeter's underwear for it) with the head of better females by bella and make it compatible with amazing followers tweaks mod in a way that it works out of the box, I.E. people wouldn't need to download UNP or better females but those looks would be contained on the follower mod(though i know AFT will still be required for those features to work). Also from the loadscreen image the breton has a skin tone and shade of hair that are not vanilla. how would I put custom skin tone and hair shade into this? Also if there is a better place to ask modder questions about modding pleae let me know. Thanks all!
  2. Ok I am looking to get into a bit of modding. As I understand it Creation kit is used to modify the game(make mods) and TES5Edit is used to clean your game/mod files so they dont become corrupted, ensure compatability and such but can't acually modify the game. Is this correct? Thanks.
  3. Thanks so much for the replies so far. I will try these out this weekend when i have time. Until then please keep posting ideas people of the internets! Thanks.
  4. First off I know yes it's a laptop and i don't need people telling me you can't game on laptops blah blah blah. My specs are i7 4710HQ, gtx 860M, 16GB ram 1600MHz. Windows 8. I tried out skyrim with a few mods. I can do ultra with no mods on 1920 X 1080 and really smooth(no graphical lag). but i tried putting on just a few mods some of which i know tax the graphic and others i am not sure if they do or not and i had to drop to medium settings just to run it without graphical lag/stuttering, and that seems counter-productive when trying to make the visuals better. Is it? Is it better to have hd textures but graphics settings on medium or default skyrim textures with graphics settings on ultra? The mods I have: Skyrim HD Textures. Better Females. xenius character enhancement. CBBE never nude. jaysus swords. deadly dragons. and a few content mods that i know don't tax the graphics. should i lower the resolution and then my lappy might play it on high or ultra? or would that even be worth it? meaning still give graphical improvement but no stuttering during gameplay? Thanks all.
