  1. Alternate start was indeed the culprit. My modded and vanilla versions skyrim both work fine now with alternate start replaced with unbound I spoke too soon. My modded game now doesn't show the dialogue anymore. This is getting ridiculous
  2. No problem. I have never used immersive citizens and had uninstalled all mods except for alternate start. Replacing alternate start with unbound solved the problem in vanilla mode, and now I'm reinstalling everything to see if it also works in my modded mode.
  3. No I am testing this with new saves. All the miscellaneous dialogue simply refused to show up. Someone on another forum suggested it might be related to alternate start, so I uninstalled that and used SKyrim unbound. I'm still testing but the problem seems to have gone away. Someone more knowledgeable than me might want to figure out what the exact issue was, but I am just glad it seems to have gone away.
  4. But doesn't that just show me subtitles for the dialogue? My problem is that none of the lines starting the quests appear, the subtitles are fine. Ysolda's "You're looking to become a merchant?" for example is completely absent. Same thing with Uthgerd's brawl quest or any other favour quest. Regular quests are fine as well, but for whatever reason all radiant quests are absent.
  5. Anyone? I am kind of losing my mind reinstalling, cleaning and verifying this damn game over and over again.
  6. I didn't include a mod list because the problem persists on completely unmodded games
  7. Hello everyone, I have an issue. The game runs great, but the dialogue for all miscellaneous quests won't show. Has anyonehad this issue and how did you fix it?
  8. For roleplay reasons I think it would be cool if I could have npcs marry eachother. A simple spell to set their relation to married wouldn't be too hard to make, but I wonder if it is possible to make a mod like this that also grants new 'married' scripts to the npcs? The former is something I might be able to figure out on my own, but the latter is way outside my modding abilities.
