  1. I'd love this option too. Tried to make one but it didn't work. Brotherhood of Steel Overhaul mod seems to increase the occurrence of BOS troop drops..and sometimes they can show up eg Rever satellite location and help you ...by coincidence I'm sure.
  2. If im getting your question correctly... You have an issue with cells not belonging to the location... All the cells you use in your location have to be edited and the relevant location has to be selected if " NONE "... If the cell you used already has a location(not yours) then you may have a problem. Example : if it belongs to another workshop then you have a major conflict ... If it belongs to a POI(point of interest ) that is quest related then you cant change the location because the quest will be broken.... Thats why BEFORE you start a new location always make sure the cells you need are free ... Edit: to clarify a bit more.... As long as the MAIN cell you need is clean you can use cells related to something else (except other settlement cells ) BUT you wont have full functionality in those cells like proper vendors for example. When a location is setup we add certain keywords to it like "loctypexxxxxx" etc...and a zone also links to that location .... If the proper keywords a settlement needs arent in the location...then cells belonging to that location wont work.. Yeah one of the cells was a POI. I changed/added my location to the adjacent cells,as you have shown, but by then i guess the workshop registration was toast. Initially I was working from the stuyk material. Then as i worked myself deeper into the mud I went to a more detailed SKK50 settlement tutorial and his Workshop Utility which really helped identify my problems. I couldn't fix it so have removed the workshop for now. This was my first settlement so I made a ton of mistakes....it was a good lesson for sure. Another thing I quickly came to realize was you guys really are amazing...to make your game wishes and needs come true by turning out solid mods is no small feat. I'll keep trying. Thanks for your help greekrage I really appreciate it.
  3. OK. Thanks very much for shedding light on it. It doesn't sound like it's not the cause of the registration problem.
  4. No just the regular render window after I hit "b". i tried to post a picture but it tells me I'm not allowed to use the image extension or something like that.
  5. When i set it up I only saw the yellow dashed lines and fit my boat within them. Now I see I've crossed a blue boundary which appear out of phase with the yellow cells. Am wondering if they are responsible for my workshop registration problem. I did have a workshop location issue which i thought I had treated with actions directed from the SKK Workshop Utility mod.
  6. It looks like this worked niston! Bed was gone when I arrive on foot but showed up when I docked. Wasn't quite sure what marker I should set it to...so used an original boat post reference right next to it and bingo, it worked out. Thanks again for the suggestion!
  7. Thanks pepperman35 for the suggestion. I wasn't exactly sure where to go from here....you do build the boat in stages so it does stand to reason you're right. I have only dabbled with quests, a radio station...that I have to fix periodically for some reason. Anyway your timely suggestion does give me another avenue to work at this from. Cheers.
  8. Am trying to use the CK to customize the Red Wave 3 fast travelling player home. As an example I'd like to remove the power armour workbench and add a bunk bed. I understand that each location has a version of the boat. So far within the creation kit I successfully deleted the power armour workbench...but I had to do this at each site. Moreover when I add in the bunk bed, but am not docked at the site, the bed I added there is visible and hangs in the air ( something i don't want ). Have tried to locate the base boat model that is represented at each location but so far haven't found it...only an aspatial list of objects in it RW9_Base i think it was called. I also found a test land ( Clara ) that had a boat in it, but any changes there aren't transferred or applied to any/all the fast travel locations in Far Harbour and the Commonwealth. How does one find and make changes to the base boat model that would apply to all of the boats represented among the fast travel locations ( vs making many individual changes at each location )? Also how do I add in an object like a bunk bed that doesn't hang in mid air when I'm not docked there? Thanks for any insight you're willing to share. Sorry about my lingo...am no moddeller or computer savy guy to be sure.
