  1. Seems everyone already named the basic ones. I'll throw these out I guess. HUDFramework Valdacil's Item Sorting Immersive HUD Quick Trade VAFS - VaultTec Accelerated Focus System (If you aren't a huge fan of VATS.) FO4 Hotkeys - Pairs great with VAFS
  2. I was actually just helping someone else with their INI files earlier and I can't believe I didn't think of the other Prefs.ini Glad to hear everything is working.
  3. Glad to hear. Let us know if you run into any more issues.
  4. After you have ran the game and if no change has been made to the files try changing the graphics settings in the Launcher. That at the very least should update the all the INI files that it affects.
  5. "I do not have a Steam/steamapps/common/Fallout 4/Fallout4Prefs.ini file" I have it like this for this INI. Steam/steamapps/common/Fallout 4/Fallout4/Fallout4Prefs.ini There is a folder named "Fallout4" inside the install directory. "I do not have a Documents/My Games/Fallout 4/Fallout4Custom.ini" Create one and save it as .ini and add the following. [Archive] sResourceDataDirsFinal= bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 Run the game create a character or load a save and exit out. And check to see if it was updated with new text.
  6. If all else fails I honestly have no idea how everything has gone wrong. You could try using the "Fallout Configuration Tool" by Bilago and see if that helps.
  7. I'm not sure how you have everything set up Tolrick. But if you only have one drive I'd recommend installing Nexus to your C: Drive (If that's what is it called) and install it to a folder named "Games" create the folder in your C: Drive not inside program files. Then have Steam installed to your Program Files x86. There should be no conflicts this way. "Should I just move Steam completely out of that area into it's own C:/Steam folder?" No, If Steam installed it to Program Files x86 that is perfectly fine. "Should I delete the one I've created and put the default back?" For the Fallout4Custom.ini? I don't think that matters an awful lot if you create a new or not. I can't see what you have and don't have let's go with this. Where your game saves are located do you have three INI files under "Documents >My Games > Fallout 4" which are Fallout4Prefs.ini, Fallout4Custom.ini, Fallout4.ini And inside your Fallout 4 Steam install directory do you have Fallout4_Default.ini and a Fallout4Prefs.ini inside a folder called "Fallout4". If you have those of those files set them so they are not set to "Read Only" run the game and create a save. And then lastly edit them like so.
  8. When you run the game for the first time it should create those INI files. I've heard cases of the FalloutCustom.ini not being created. You may want to run steam's verify integrity of game cache and see if that will download and create the files for you.
  9. Can you run steam's verify integrity of game cache just to check everything is in order. Right click Fallout 4 in steam go to properties and then on local files. If nothing happened or needed to be downloaded let's swing back to the mod. I don't use "Fallout Who" so I'm not expert on that mod. Just so I am understanding this correctly "I brought both mods into NMM and installed and activated them." Do you mean you have added both F4SE and Fallout Who via adding them to the Nexus Mod Manager and installing them with NMM? If this is the case that could be why they are not working. You will need WinRar or 7Zip. To install F4SE extract the files then add them to your Fallout 4 install directory. To install Fallout Who extract the files then add them to your Data folder inside your Fallout 4 directory. Make sure you also do the same for the 1.0.6 update and chose "Yes" when it asks you to overwrite.
  10. Try this. Go to all of your INI files and make sure they are not set to "Read Only" for both the your INI files in your Saves Folder and your Fallout 4 Directory Second: Go to your Fallout4Prefs.ini and add this. [Launcher] bEnableFileSelection=1 If that fails I recommend downloading the "Fallout 4 Configuration Tool" by Bilago and using it to set up the exact same commands.
  11. Hey there guys, I'm looking at downloading and using the Personalized Music Modd. ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=13286 ) I'm curious as to how I would go about that, So I make the dummy folders correct? Inside Data/Sounds? So, Really, I'd make like Temple, Combat, Dragon Combat, Town, Castle, Travel folders? And add music into those folders? Or would this be done also via CK? I understand what I've read from the comments on the actual modd. I'd just like a little more help incase I make some mistake. So, If anyone has this modd, Or has a better grasp of understanding it then me, May I ask of your assistance?
