  1. I want a compatibility patch between these two mods (Ashlander Prophecy and Great House Dagoth) for a future playthrough. Anyone feel up to the task? Also interested in Sleepers Awake but don't know if there are problems with that and the other two or not. Note this was first posted on Reddit in r/Morrowind but has not gotten any responses so I figured I'd toss it into the ether over here and see if anyone bites.

My 2 cents: Ruining the one-click download process (or two if there are required mod notifications) to add this "upgrade to premium!" thing makes this site feel like one of those less regulated file sharing websites trying to milk every penny they can out of anyone using the service. Not a good look. ATM I'm still dependent on Nexus for my mods, but please don't make me want to start looking elsewhere.
  3. FINAL EDIT: Somehow, I got it to compile. I think it was putting the contents of the "source" zip in the source folder and letting it use that tesv flag file instead of letting sscpse build one from scratch. Either way, issue resolved! Using Skyrim Script Compiler Pro SE v4.9.0.2 (I allowed it to run an update after I dl'd and installed it) with the goal of removing the bit from the EpicRestorationHolinessScript referencing Grelod the Kind (I want to Destroy the Dark Brotherhood and use the Penitus Oculatus mod, but doing those requires killing her, and I don't want to lose the Epic Restoration spells), but I can't seem to get the stupid thing to compile. I've tried putting all the ES scripts in the Data directory instead of just Holiness, I even unpacked the scripts from the misc and update BSAs, in case somehow they needed to be available for SSCP to compile everything properly, but nothing is working. Any suggestions? Does it require Oldrim, or is there a setup step I might've missed? Any chance there might be a mod to make loot affixes / random bonuses always be at least partially applicable to the character it drops for, or if not would this be possible? e.g. no damage % boosts for or conversions to damage types a given character cannot currently generate when the drop happens, no pet boosts for characters who lack pets that would benefit, etc. Yes I did, in fact, play Diablo 3 before discovering Grim Dawn lol

Reason for the first question: I'm imagining a script to automatically remove the stolen flags from items after some period of time has passed as if it had been "laundered" by any of the half-dozen or so vanilla means I've seen after a google search on the topic. I don't know what complications, if any, might arise if an item is not on the Dragonborn's person when the time period runs out, I suspect it would depend on how such a script was written or implemented; ideally something should be done to address the possibility of a stolen item being left in a container or lying around or something. Also detecting if it has already been "laundered" via another means would be nice. Ideally with the script able to detect the value and apply a wait of gold value (or maybe gold value divided by 5 or something in a similar vein) in weeks, basically making it so the guards will eventually "forget" that an item is stolen with more valuable items taking longer as they'd be under more pressure to find say a silver candlestick than a carrot. Also unique items, such as those from the Museum, ought to be a lot harder to unload, basically requiring a fence and forever leaving the flag in place. I am aware this would definitely complicate the concept, so while this is preferred it is not strictly required. Another ideal but not required component would be for the script to recognize if the NPC it was stolen from dies, and if so do something like halve the remaining time. Reasons for the second question: A secondary idea is to have the flag go away if you physically travel far enough away as well, again preferably variant by item value and/or uniqueness (i.e. only local guards will be aware of a carrot, but several towns if not all of Skyrim ought to know about gold diamond jewelry or unique items such as from the Museum gone missing), with it returning if you go back while the timer is still ticking down, but I imagine that would drastically increase the complexity, and with magic in this world I suspect one can handwave all the guards across Skyrim being alerted that something was reported as stolen pretty easily. A tertiary idea is to apply the stolen flag to items that are pickpocketed from anyone who isn't themselves an outlaw, with the same above mechanisms to remove the flag after enough time has passed, albeit I'd be okay with a shorter time if you're not caught in the deed of the pickpocketing. Note if it is believed that this is possible but whoever responds would rather point me at how to develop this myself, I probably will be able to do so but it will likely be a while, as aside from sometimes being lazy I don't have Skyrim installed atm (planning to download it tomorrow; Comcast is so freaking messed up with their stupid data cap, playing the ESO free weekend broke it for me) and I've yet to get into Skyrim scripting specifically (albeit I did do a little reading and mod tweaking in Morrowind, as well as other scripting languages, so I should be able to figure it out).

  14. How would making all guns 1/100 be more realistic? If I was going to create a mod for more realistic scarcity for guns, I would: Make heavy, energy, and military-grade weapons scarce outside of appropriate factions, reducing most non-skilled NPC's (including super mutants who aren't nightkin or similar) to pipe guns, railway rifles, and junk jets, while making any more advanced guns they do have be in poor but not quite broken condition. Find a way to add requirements to mods for such weapons such as recipes and special workstations (assuming it is possible to restrict the mods from being craftable at an ordinary workbench, albeit that might not be possible without completely replacing the normal crafting process with a scripted menu). Make pre-war weapons caches a little rarer (there has been 200 years worth of looting, after all). Ammo would be largely given a similar treatment, leaving higher caliber and energy ammo harder to come by, with the most readily available ammo being lower caliber, railway spikes, or random junk. Natch, legendary creatures who have no business carrying actual weapons won't be carrying actual weapons, albeit something else valuable may be added to their inventory as a prize (maybe that legendary deathclaw had a bit of nuclear material stuck in it's hide somewhere, explaining it's ability to mutate). Also, if I really wanted realism, I'd get rid of all leveled lists entirely, instead replacing such leveled spawns with something based on the passage of time and advancement of quests to render some areas more or less dangerous to reflect things like the Brotherhood or Raider groups expanding their influence, so if you power-level and are careful about where you go early on you'll have an easier time but if you slack off and wander too much you'll quickly find yourself overwhelmed.
  15. Is there any way to convert this weapon from a laser musket into either a continuous beam or a one-handed rapid gatling laser? I'm even okay with still taking radiation damage while firing it, albeit I dunno if the script may need rewriting or replacement depending on if it can support continuous or rapid fire...

  17. Is it possible to create a mod that changes the Piezonucleic power armor effect from adding AP to either recharging or slowing the drain of the fusion cell in your power armor? If so, could anyone do this? Especially if you can make sure that it's based on the original radiation source's strength, not the damage you actually take (as I expect the latter might be easier to script, assuming this is possible).
