In response to post #37209485. Bumped. Take a look at all solutions, no matter how insignificant. Could be a combo of things, or something simple yet elusive. and PLEASE post about it if you do solve it, even if you dont think it will help; 10 thousand+ others might.

When is the next NMM update.. Keeps asking me to remove lines from my ini. Same lines that we need now.

(Like Major said), and I seem to have solved it. Not anything i didn't do before, except reinstalling. CTD on menu stopped after deleting the Archive section. I didn't reinstall Creation Kit, but i doubt that was it either. Gonna try my saves on survival (it bumped me to Very Hard) and test. I'll let you know if i run into anything else. Im also using my old Fallout4.ini and FalloutPrefs.ini with the added String line.

Ini's too? sorry, just trying to get alot of info

Then went on to disabling mods and regenerating new ini's. Got frustrated and verified files and removing F04SE, then reinstalling. I am nowhere near an expert on these things, and this one has me stumped. I dont use Def_UI, but was willing to try til Misshalcyon told me it wasnt working for her either.

In response to post #37145435. #37145555 is also a reply to the same post. Not yet. Still reinstalling, I have the same problem with new games too. Are you using ENBoost, Reshader, or SweetFX?

CTD on loading saves after updating. Disabled all mods, CTD as soon as menu loads. reset Ini, CTD. Verified files, CTD. Removed F4SE, CTD. Unistalling now, will see if it still does after I reinstall.
