  1. Was running around the Rift and I noticed a bunch of these phantom berry textures https://imgur.com/gallery/2PA2hJL I call em phantoms cause I can't interact with them, they don't move in the wind. Very weird never seen this before. I am using Enhanced Landscapes flora option and Renthal's Flora overwriting. I ran Dyndolod for 3d LODs made sure that the cache was empty, thought it maybe was DynDolod. I have ran into purple meshes that have no textures before but not textures I can clearly see and not interact with. Any ideas?
  2. Oh yeah forgot to add that. Yeah I have Dyndolod Resources before the tree mods, ran Texgen placed after tree mods, ran Dyndolod after clearing out the Cache and made sure output folders were empty and loaded that after. Thanks for reminding me
  3. Learned how to make 3d LODs with DynDolod yesterday. My trees out in the distance look great! I also dont get crazy tree popping. My LODs dont change from 1 tree to a completely different one anymore and for that I am grateful. Now I have this texture/shadow flicker on my trees https://imgur.com/gallery/YaOMIei I emptied out my DynDOLOD cache before running. It only does it at this distance. After the flicker stops the trees look normal just slightly less lush, but barely. Not sure if DynDOLOD is making my LODs look more lush and as I get closer they change to normal? Never had this problem before and I am so close to having my trees perfect. I am using EVT Large Lush trees. Perhaps it is an INI configuration? 4. As I have become more knowledgeable of how textures and meshes work, I am mixing trees from various mods for my own personal setup. Currently using Enhanced Vanilla Trees as my base and plugging in trees from 3D and SFO to get the flora I want. It still seems like some of the LODs are out of place. There is a lot of confusion when it comes to LODs. I only have the basic knowledge to use DynDOLOD for what it is intended. What I don't know is how it works with the LODs we have installed. When I am done setting up my custom trees, how will the billboards work? Do I also need to install the specific billboards manually? Or can I just install all the billboards for each tree mod and then TexGen and Dyn will sort out the LODs for the meshes and textures I am using? I don't even know if I can install billboards or LODs manually. Or overwriting mods in a way that uses the proper LODs, Using Vortex so I don't think there is an option like in Mod Organizer to manually select files to hide. If anyone has some guidance on this then that would be super appreciated and you will make my game look amazing. Thanks
  5. I thought SSE had real shelter effects so rain and snow didn't go through roofs. I know Oldrim only did with vanilla weather but when using a weather mod then real shelter was needed. Currently using Vivid Weathers for SE and I get rain and snow through shelter, I thought SE normally fixed that issue. Perhaps I'm mistaken?
  6. I don't have a very powerful rig, one that can definitely run vanilla Skyrim at 60fps. Before we get into my specs, all of that aside I want to know what's the big fps killer with ENB? Some ENB presets don't really hurt your fps, others like the recent release of Dovah Naakin brings me to 18fps roughly, from 60. When I turn off DoF, SSAO, Reflection, I get about a 4fps boost, 22. What's hitting the fps so hard? Is really just my video card? But before you ask, lol, is it ENB that's bringing it down? People suggest more performance friendly enbs for mid range video cards, so what is it that allows them to run these more performance friendly enbs? I want to tweak my enb setting if possible to make it more performance friendly. Thanks
  7. I do not know why when using the basic ENB files trying to adjust water muddiness has no effect, made sure water was enabled under effect. Tweaking direct lightning under environment works. However, that's trying to use the .ini and .fx files that come along with the current enb .dll plugin. Using presets that I get here from Nexus I can adjust muddiness, but not with those files. I am really picky of my water and want to experiment with making my own preset. So I am unsure, with the files given with the .dll files, aside from checking if the effect is enabled or not, ignoring weather or not, that some adjustments with enbseries.ini work and others don't. Any thoughts? I am not very knowledgeable with these files.
  8. Having this issue with the shadows on the top of the trees. SFO 2.5b + Realistic Pine Trees SFO + Enhanced Vanilla Trees + SFO 8k Pine and TreesHD for the bark. Rampage ENB and the trees look great except I am not sure how to fix these lighting issues on the top.
  9. Been practicing tweaking ENB's so that I can eventually make my own from scratch or have a custom preset to my taste. I noticed that when I try to tweak under environment, DirectLightingIntensityDay nothing happens. But, if I adjust DirectLightingIntensityInteriorDay then affects both the light of the interior and exterior. Not quite sure where I can adjust to separate those so I can tweak the lighting and curve differently outside and make alternate adjustments to the interior for a more realistic and dynamic lighting. If anyone has any recommendations or resources I can look up or study with ENB tweaking it would be great. I found some but none so far that have explained being able to adjust interior and exterior separately also with texture quality, don't know how to adjust that either. But I'm learning piece by piece. Thanks
  10. I saw this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6570/? Player leveling overhaul. Thought the idea was good. However, this mod hasn't been updated in 5 years. It also states that skills can only increase with trainers. Spent some time thinking about immersive leveling. There are some that require you to rest to level or spend perk points. This isn't immersive enough. Especially for a SkyRealism mod set up. My thoughts were skills do increase as you use them, but instead of just magically leveling up mid fight (which has saved me many times) to level up you must rest like previously stated, like results from work out recovery. Perk points can only be spent by visiting a trainer for that skill which requires more money based on level, friendly discounts apply. For example, I took martial arts. Had to pay monthly. My kicks and punches improved with practice and use, my teacher didn't advance me to learn more techniques, attacks and defenses until I was ready. Maybe to make it easier, leveling up base stats can be done by visiting the trainer you're training your perk points with. I feel like this is more logical in terms of leveling and function for trainers. Levels can still stack, if you're on a long adventure and have considerably improved skills. I would love to make it, tho I don't have any basic knowledge of modding, besides snaggin them and pluggin into MO and resolving conflicts :) Please share your thoughts. Game on!
  11. Well, first I want to know if my computer can even handle ENB v309. I figured it would upgrading from a previous laptop that could run ENB v309 d3d11.dll. This rig = Core i7 6600, 12GB RAM, Nvidia Geforce GTX 940MX + Intel HD integrated graphics (optimus?) DX9 Vramsize test 4064 MB, DX11 Vramsizetest 44800. Old rig = Dual Core, 8GB RAM, Intel HD integrated graphics only, DX9 vramsize 4064MB On the old rig, I could run SSE relatively well, not best but for the most part playable. It could boot reshade 3.0.4 and ENB v309 and it looked great! The intel integrated graphics setup was giving me issues with water shaders and shadow striping along edges and behind objects. Running SSE on the new rig, I was having flickering textures, I updated my Nvidia driver to version 375.70 and under my nvidia settings I set the global card and selected skyrimse.exe for nvidia processor. The flickering textures went away and was playing smooth. So I decided to load the real lighting ENB and shader preset, which is my favorite so far that made the game look great on the old rig. This new rig wont boot with the d3d11.dll file.. if I select the game to run with integrated HD graphics it boots with the d3d11.dll and get the ENB but have flickering textures. When I prompt the launcher to detect my hardware with the nvidia processor selected. It says graphics hardware could not be identified, setting to low graphics. I am aware of the longer booting times with the ENB roughly 30-50 seconds, but I waited for 10 minutes of black screen and wouldn't boot. Not sure what I am missing, if my nvidia card can even run the ENB. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Gonna continue to troubleshoot.
  12. My screenshots are too large to upload. Having issues with shadow striping on ceilings, walls, door and window edges and character models. Im not sure if its a SMIM problem. With original Skyrim I had resolved shadow striping with a few skyrimprefs.ini tweaks with Mod Organizer. Now with SSE, the same .ini tweaks dont work. In fact I noticed within the skyrimprefs.ini located in documents>my games>sse that some of the lines under display like the shadowbias is missing and many other differences with the type of .ini features than original skyrim. I am unsure how to fix this and havent found anything related to SSE striping issues and fixes. Thank you if anyone knows how to resolve this.
