Wouldnt be shocked if certain folks started stating "nexus premium was needed for X" Specially with price going up soon it would make the most sense to push a urgency to get it. you know before it starts falling down or off due to the price hike.

(stuck reading qouted posts) You must really enjoy the nexus milk if you cant seem to understand How curse forge does thing doesnt mean everyone should. You really should look at them as i doubt they are going "we own these forever no matter what you say" and if anything there is TOS going "you really want it gone it will be taken away" There is a thing called permission and mutual cooperation. Nexus went from working with its community to spitting on them and telling them in the cage or out to the wild. And yes the moment they have a few "Every day joes" start discord in the ranks things tend to fall about. They either start a new issues or provide things to cause them to spiral out of control. Its been done by Anti-union groups by politicians and even by police. (For those who remember sudden drop off of brick stacks at BLM rallys was weird specially when those dropping them were proved to be cops in plains clothes) What we all really need to do is those who feel this is truly is wrong is stop all payments to them. Direct support of mod makers and seek those who posted the big pull mods and have them yank them away. Cause if they don't have them this website will fail. The new system will never make it out of its creation stage if you starve it. Think of all the unofficial patch mods going away. That is what got me here way back when. I'm sure there was some mods that first drew you in or here cause this is where it was. You take that away they lose allot. Specially if they decided to use it after its was supposed to be pulled and removed as they will be breaking there word and agreement which then would open them to legal action.

For folks going "the files can be hidden" The files can be hidden. but the new sytem will still pull it for usage. That isnt hidden the API system will know where it is so no matter who updates the mod to fix issues. Or removes stuff from a fellow author who helped make the mod (we all know the mod im talking about) Yes Robin is being a JackDaw with the mods on the website. If collections truly installed everything. (which it wont. There are mods that you need to customize per install and based on other mods) It does nothing. They have change "mod pack" to collections to make folks think its new or better when its not. Folks are saying they are listening for letting partial deletes. It shows they released they stepped into muck and nastiness that would of left there "fields of gold" barren so they are doing half measures to try and hold some things better (Nvm the fact they are archiving stuff anyways so deleted requests or not I'm sure will be in collections mod author approved or not) For folks going "they aren't raising prices first it must mean they aren't money hungry" that's a fallacy based on present work. Im sure Mod makers who are in the "back room" in discord have seen and read how Dark0ne really is and how he feels users/mod makers are nothing but fodder for his website to grow and make him his money.

before hearing of the major change from Kotaku and pcgamer and etc i didn't know there was issues with Nexus mod. I hop on when i see a new mod i like via youtubers using it mikeburnfire for example. If they honestly went "hey covid messed us up too. and while we havent talked about we are in dire need of additional funding" I would bet you a full paycheck. They would of got donations left right and center. hell i would of thrown money at them going "hey i use the site from time to time but here ya go man hope it helps" They didn't. The removal of life time shows this is bottom line cash influenced more then likely same for the "collection" force system. I appearently greatly misread Arthmoor post or mistook it for another. So sorry for it and much confusion for myself included. Allot of the mod makers host it on websites. many of them too. What we are complaining about is the people who are supposed to be giving us mod users and the mod makers a location to enjoy them without worrying about the going 'we own them now that you used us" You may be here a long time user poster or mod maker. but that post clearly shows your not on the side of the mod makers who are having rights taken from them and want to fight to control that right of the work they created. For a mod maker I'm shocked your okay with Dark0ne literally going "we control them now on and you cant ever take them back" completely turning their back to mod maker rights and then lying about how its going to change and already archiving all files even after the request for them to be scrub from the system.

After looking up jenncave mods on Bethesda i now have them and will make sure to enjoy them as much as I can through avenues they have chosen to use. TY for cleaning up Sanctuary

You want to use some logic going "they are acting perfectly on what they have had folks agree to" Anyone one with a "using this means you agree" when they did a complete 180 in ideology isnt being fair isnt being right. The new system they are implementing is already in effect and the 1 month grace is a token and nothing more. you have chosen a side and you have decided the rights of the few can be stepped on for the rights of the many. Those big names you used EULA that Microsoft, Google or Apple go "here is the new terms" you have to agree to them or not. We are given an OPTION. It is a website that is allowing users world wide access and add to a list of mods that people agreed to let the website host to release it. That same website then changed the TOS "licensing" to go "our system needs your content forever and you cant say no after X date". They did this then a week later went "here is the NEWS and the NEW future for us". 2) following the TOS. The TOS that was changed before it was announced a week later they will own all works forever after X date? That is the equivalent of you agree to rent an apartment. you moving in on the ground you dont own the home. Then the apartment then goes "by the way anything inside this home is now our property regardless if you purchased/made it else where then put it inside this apartment. your just renting it now. we updated the contract as it says we can add this is we want to without telling you we changed anything" Cause that is what NEXUS is doing. 3) Changes happen.. Why yes. yes they do. Normally you dont salt and burn the fields the folks who helped build your "kingdom" put in so they can survive on the land. You would inform and talk and see where things can lie. heck work with the people. Not some of them not those that already agree with you or are part of your squad. Those who helped build and have thoughts that weren "yes sir. Right away sir" No one needs a amy of yes men if they are truely for the people. Your BS of logic and philosophical pretense is as smelly as an outhouse in summer mate. They are/have stolen content the moment they back door updated the system to archive all files. Folks asking for deletion are seeing "archiving" before deletion from there account. NEXUS is going to be holding/using/selling mods essentially when the new collection kicks in as it only fully works for paying profiles. Anyone else is going to be doing what they did before. Dont pay dont get to use the new "better" system. yes there is laws and right now none of us know if he is following/breaking/bending any right now cause EU/UK/USA/International laws are all different. At this point those who do know may just be waiting for them to offically go "we own these now" before filing against them. Who knows. At this point short of extreme measures which i don't think are appropriate. we lost. They will not stop. Robin and his personal goon squad will beat everyone down till they cow to them. Only those that will fight to the last breathe will do something once things become "official" and take legal steps. And at that point we have to hope that it will show them how badly they messed up or someone else will create a website to become the new Mod Hub.
