  1. Wouldn't it be cool if someone made a stand-alone set of blades armor that was crafted from ebony and looked like it too?
  2. Has anyone made a mod that adds to skyhaven temple? Or could someone? There's really nothing there except some beds. I'd love to see mannequins lining the walls that I could cover in blades armor... and a forge that I could make said blades armor in. All the norms would be great!
  3. Right now, save files are defined by *where your character is*. Half my save files are "skyrim". Who's idea was that??? Each file shows the chars name and level and a snapshot when you click on it so that info is in the file, but it takes me forever to sort through and find a game I'm looking for especially if I haven't played that character in a while. Is it possible to change the save game name to be the characters name, and possibly level? I figured I'd have seen this mod by now. I can't be the only one that's frustrated by the way it is currently. Is it something that has to wait until the CK comes out?
  4. I'm pretty sure that they are more powerful if your skill is higher, but they do not themselves make your skill go up. I.e. If you have a 20 in destruction, the same staff of fireball will do less damage than someone with 100 in destruction. I feel like they should raise your skill... just not as much as using a regular spell. The thing I keep coming back to is that if I want to use staves, they don't help me further my skills and consequently, don't help me level up. So then staves become something to use because I'm out of mana. That doesn't seem right. Immersively, I should be able to make a character that won't go anywhere without his/her staff in his/her hands all the time, and is able to gain levels based on that. (Unarmed has the same problem, but I've found mods to tie it to 1handed skill.)
  5. Argonians can breathe underwater... why do they gasp for air when they come up?
  6. The only way to level it now is to get a Intimidate, Bribe or Persuade check, which there are not many of and are hard at low lvls, to train in it, or to sell stuff. To get my silver-tongued rogue up there, I HAD to spend a ton of time training. It was very frustrating.
  7. The title says it. What if Ysgramor's Ax was 1handed so it could be used with his shield. I like the idea of it still looking like a 2handed ax, but only requiring one hand to weild. Like titan grip in wow, or the ghoulbane in everquest, or monkey grip in DnD.
  8. Wouldn't it be great if all the chests by the beds in the player owned houses shared one inventory. I have a hard time remembering where I stashed stuff.
  9. Speech is one of the hardest skills to raise. It seems like it should go up as you just talk to people. When you ask NPC's topics, your speech goes up a little. Maybe it goes up more when you get to the end of a conversation thread... if that's possible.
  10. What about stand alone bracelets for a hand slot item that are craftable under the jewelry section. I was trying to find something to go good on the hands with the Nocturnal robes, and I was amazed there was no bracelets in the game.
  11. I can't see dragonscale armor's upper arm when I draw my sword. I've seen mods that fix a similar issue on other armors, but none for dragonscale.
  12. I think it would be a good immersive mod if you could get skill ups from target practice and hitting target dummies. It should probably be slower than hitting real monsters of course.
  13. What about just busts to place helmets on in some of the houses in game? I believe there's a bust like that in the thieves guild.
  14. Anyone able to make a mod for staves, that makes them increase the appropriate skill. Like using a staff of fireball will increase destruction skill. Also, is there anyway to make them appear on your character when equipped but not drawn, like other weapons? Thanks!
