  1. So as of yet I have no experience modding skyrim; but I've been using Skyrim mods since release day. A number of the mods that I have in my list alter the various leveled lists, which I understand are responsible for loot found, random encounters, shop contents, etc. Of course many of these conflict, and so I end up having to choose to have the functionality of one or the other in many instances. How do I go about identifying the conflicts, and then making a patch I can load last which combines the lists so I can use both? Thanks guys.
  2. You say 100+mods, but to be honest, I searched for a mod to do it before I made the thread. I haven't seen one. Though maybe the "Tytanis Mod" might have something, I'm not sure I want all the baggage that comes with it. If you could point me to a mod that allows for animal companions besides dogs, that are companions, instead of summons, that would be a huge help obviously, but I figured; with no mods that seem to do it, someone must be doing it with the console instead, maybe bat files. Could you point me in the right direction? I just looked again, and I cant find anything. Some stuff for summons, but nothing for companions.
  3. FYI you can go in steam (even in offline mode I believe) and tell it not to update skyrim if you right click on the game in your library and go to preferences (or was it properties) whatever was at the bottom. Set it to "Do not automatically update this game" and youll be fine.
  4. So I've seen a bunch of screenshots where people have things like: two friendly sabre cats, wolves, or bears following them. I've been messing with the console commands, and I can figure out how to make them friendly, but not how to get them to be animal followers. I wanted to try it with other, weirder things too, and haven't figured that out either. Dragons, Giants, Trolls, Goats, etc. lol. Also: is there any way to increas the max numbers of followers to have like 4 beasts following you around? Thanks for the tips in advance.
  5. IIRC there is a console command that clears those loaded cells. You could make a bat file that does it and run the bat periodically, but I dont think there is a mod to do that regularly yet. I imagine it wouldnt be too complex though. You could probably do it with the extended script engine.
  6. Hmm. Nifty for sure, but doesnt do anything to correct the clipping with hair and helmets. When you put on say; gloves that overlap with sleeves, the bottom section of the sleeve gets hidden so it doesnt clip through the gloves. This behavior isnt consistent though. some shirts/gloves have weird clipping problems, and most of the helmets have this problem, so you put on the steel helmet (or ancient norse helm, or iron helm, or whatever), and you have weird chunks of brown or blond hair sticking through the back of the mesh. I tend to play in third person, and it kindof bugs the hell out of me. lol. Thanks anyways. ~Vhaerlyr
  7. I heard there was a mod to fix the ridiculous amount of clipping that goes on with hair going through all the hats/helmets and making them look retarded, but I cant find it. Any tips? Or is this mod not one that actually exists. Thanks.
