  2. wouldn't that be cool being the main character was in the army and all. maybe somehow he gets into a memory pod thingy and has flashbacks from the war. this woud be soo cool if it were to be the next dlc after nuka world. please share your ideas to make this more..... immersive.

  4. Ive never done anything with the railroad before because i dont like them but does tradecraft change anything major with the other storylines and or factions? is it worth completing?
  5. exactly. why wont they fix this? some guns like the combat rifle which should be replaced by the fallout 3 assault rifle and other smei autos are ok with the left side charging. that left handed bolt action though. why wont Bethesda address their horrible animations and do something about them. havent enough people complained already. this game is great, they just need to fix the guns. sometimes i wonder about people. no one can be that uneducated in the basic operations of fire arms. and theyre american too. surely theyve seen or shot a self loading or bolt rifle in their lives. the cool factor with seeing ejection doesn't even come into play when some of the animations and guns just bother me.

  7. how do i replace the pipe guns all together? I want to use some of the pistol and rifle mods I have as replacers. I have no intention of publishing this unless authorized by the original mod creator. i really dont like them and theres way too many, its all i find. i have mods with leveled lists but they never seem to show up, even at higher levels.

  9. fallout 4 overall is better than any of the other open world type games imo. the only thing that really bothers me is the guns. no variety when compared to fonv and fo3. i like the uique varients instead of this legendary stuff. the mod system is linear when it comes to reciver mods, all the guns are for lefties, there arent any mod friendly weapon animations and these pipe guns are f*#@ing rediculous. irl they would blow up in your face. and theyre every f*#@ing where. im here with 50 10mm pistols and 45 hiunting rifles and these losers only have pipe guns. there needs to be a replacer mod for that. another problem is the stroy line. i agree there should be more options all the way through. there should be way more advanced story line strucutre than in all of the previous games. make the settlers less pathetic, make he minutemen less pathetic, make the railroad less pathetic, make the brotherhood less asshole techno nazi regime, and make the institute into the enclave. it would be cool if the gunners were joinable. but a much mnore dynamic storyline is really what everyone wants. not just go here kill that, rtb .
  10. why is every weapon in this game made for left handed shooters? why is everything charged from the left? most of the guns also have ejection ports on the left which irl isn't very safe and makes me wonder why the devs decided to do this. I know this is a rather trivial feature but in a game, details add up to help make a great game. anyone have any ideas as to why the devs went with left side ejection and charging?
  11. its totally custom animations. and the skin and models i intend to use are custom as well. aand becuase i want a proper mag fed assualt rifle. not some big clunky pos and we have to wait for nuka world

  14. i found a modders resource file from a fallout new vegas mod. my questions are being that it is labled as a modders resource can i make a mod and publish it without explicit permission and would it work in fallout 4? its from heffy's ak's and ar's mod and i dont think ill ever get a response. i wan to try to make and ak and an ar15 mod for fallout 4 but if the answer is no to either of these questions then I might as well be wasting my time. my intention is to piece together a mod by using heffy animations along with someone else's models and textures with their permission of course.
  15. i want an ak or an hk33 like in fallout 3 or a proper semi auto sniper. and a s#*! ton of mods like the millennia mods in fallout new vegas and the ak's and ar's. I'm looking for solutions that don't involve me having to make animations from scratch.

Ive looked into fixing this problem as a whole but discovered its a lot more complex that I originally thought and technically illegal to publish what ive suggested as a mod. all the tools to make this game a lot better are right here in fallout 3 and new Vegas. Bethesda just needs to move the models and animations over, update the textures, and then let the modding community takeover from there. it would be cool if we had all the guns from fo3 and fonv in the fo4 wasteland. we'd have m16's, ak's, hk's, smgs, svd's, all kinds of gun mods and a lot more vanilla weapon variety in the wasteland. then this game would be complete.
  17. if somehow, legally, all of the weapons and animations made their way into fallout 4, this would all be fixed and fallout 4 would have the best mods of all the fallout games. it has everything but good gun mods. or if some master computer magician made ridiculously awesome animations for all types of weapons but we all know that wont happen for a while or ever.
  18. the guns. theres no semi auto sniper rifle, the assault rifle is a f***ing machine gun so technically there is no assault rifle, the combat rifle looks really stupid, theres no 10mm smg, no grenade launchers, no pump action shotguns and no bouble action revolvers. the animations for the mag fed weapons are really specific to those models and those models only. all other self loading mag fed weapon mods simply float in your hands and make you shove mags through the gun and grab an imaginary charging handle. the bolt action rifle charge from the left for some weird reason so all bolt action mods have to charge weirdly as well. why would Bethesda make a game with really specific weapon animation when they know people are going to mod the living hell out of this game? also why are minutemen settler and the minutemen themselves so wimpy and ineffective?
  19. how would I get approval from Bethesda? how would I get them to see my request and not ignore it?
  20. also the revolver and bolt action rifle animations bother the living hell out of me
  21. is it possible to port fallout 3 and fallout new vegas animations and weapons into fallout 4? ive ported a weapon model from fnv to f03 a long time ago. is there any legal things or major issues that might come up when porting older weapon animation and models into fallout 4? I would like to make this a published mod and allow for other people to use it for their mods because fallout 4 hasn't had the weapon modding success that the previous games have enjoyed.
  22. can someone make a mod where the revolver is double action and shoots faster? idk why bethesda made the revolver single action only.

Considering the game is set in boston, wouldnt it be cool if all the music was replaced with songs from boston? when you fight an enemy, More than a feeling comes on, when you discover something awesome, Amanda comes on and the same thing for the other soundtracks. Another sweet additeon would be a boston radio station with all bston songs. Anyone up for the challenge to make thi a reality?
