  1. Upon completing "Destroy the Dark Brotherhood" I thought that the sanctuary I just cleaned out would be a good home for me, all the storage I need, fast travel marker, neat design. So I was wondering if anyone knows any mods or console commands that would let this place be counted for my spouse to live here and for me to adopt children... why have one vampire lady when you can have 2 adopted kids right?

  4. In the hearthfire plugin I can give my kids gifts, I can even give my greenhouse gifts... why can't I give my spouse a gift without turning her to follower mode? I'm just hoping someone could make a quick mod that lets me give my spouse a bunch of flowers or a nice dress, in the same method that I can give gifts to the kids
  5. Although this is a great way to make it realtime, its not computer based time. I'd like it also, to have the games time based on the computer clock so I know when its bedtime by the lighting in skyrim xD. there was a mod like this for oblivion, and for "hours slept" it measured how long you set your "sleep" for and thensubtracted the time the game was closed from this number, effectively creating a turn off to sleep system. if any modder would like to look into something like this it would be an idea to find the oblivion mod that did the same. Ok, so after reading every post I see the following: Fellglow keep - Peaceful solution Peryite's Quest - Side with the afflicted Falmer vs Bandit battle - friendly bandits Dragon Nest Word walls - Talk Maddannoch - forsworn faction Ok, I'll take a look at these as they seem to be pretty simple changes and see if I can't make a mod for it. more ideas the merrier

Mikes magical mounts removed the ney'ing sound when riding something else, like a deer or a spider. so I suppose to do this one would probably have to rip open Mike's Mounts and the flying broom mods to see how they do it. Then work from that EDIT: I've favourited this page to keep an eye on it :)
  8. There is still a niche you can hit mate, there are like 10 or 11 rowboats around skyrim, making them activatable and rowable and then replacing them would still count as a fresh mod, and would look a whole lot better
  9. A mod like this was done for Oblivion some time back. So I don't suppose it should be too much more complicated for skyrim. Just have to wait/find someone who's willing to make it

After waiting for the Ekki Spouse Life mod to update I got very impatient and decided I'll do it myself, I want to include a outside job and social life for each of the default houses, and then later maybe some mod support Currently I have plans for Breezehome= 21:20 startsleep, 04:30 Endsleep followed by breakfast, 05:40 travel to whiterun markets and stand at a stall, 11:45 lunch at the bannered mare, 12:00 Chilling at the temple of kynareth. 12:15 back to work in the markets, 19:10 Home, 19:30 Dinner, Wander round home till 21:20 Anyone have any ideas for things a person could do living at each of the other default houses, please comment below, I'd be happy to take suggestions
  11. If I were you I'd check the wander packages used by Khajiit caravans and couriers. I do see them on the roads sometimes, so maybe they have what you need if they just spawn at the different locations then may as well check "Maiq the liar" as he DOES transition from place to place the long way
  12. I agree with the premise of this mod idea, in the tower defense mod you could place objects as if your in creation kit, it would be great to have a feature like that in a home
  13. I love the idea of this mod, and it would actually make me more interested in BECOMING a werewolf in skyrim. So, mark me down as supporting this idea also, I find it great that the person who responded about how this would be done, in a clear and concise manner in which it wouldn't need much thought by modders is named "primal hunter" that gave me a good laugh
  14. Yu could always right down how much money you got from one particular sale then bring up the console and type "player.removeitem f [X]" where [X] is 80% of the money you got from the sale
  15. When selling/dropping/storing/buying items that you have more than 5 of you get a slider to select how many you want to interact with. When crafting it doesnt matter how many of each component you have you can only make 1 at a time. could someone make a mod please, that makes it so you can use a slider to make multiples of an item depending on the lowest component count you have. e.g. you have 30 Blue mountain flowers and 21 charred skeever hides. clicking "craft" you should get a slider to make up to 21 Restore health potions. A side effect I can see of this, is that your XP gain would need to be multiplied by the amount of items your crafting, otherwise the game may think your only crafting 1 thing. Thats all. Due to the face that dice determine who I am, I've only ever once had a Thief using alchemy, mostly with stolen ingredients. and in cases like that yes I do wish that they sold less. like the skyrim economy was live, but a 'living economy' mod usually takes quite a bit of time and work, so its the sort of thing you wait for a modder to decide to do, rather than ask them to do
  17. That would sound really cool. but you'd have to find out who the master trainer is for those skills I like the idea of Sneak, Pickpocketing and Lockpicking capes
  18. I have gotten into the habit of using dice rollers to plan a RP character and then use console to skip the opening( 'coc' from within the menu). When starting my thief character this time round I realised I automatically have flames and healing. Is it possible for anyone to just turn those automatic spells off? the spell books exist for them so its not like your stopping the player ever getting the spell, just stopping them starting with them. Any help?
  19. This happens for me too. But mostly I just flip a coin and roll a D10(10 sided die), Heads I'm male, tails I'm female. and the Die roll tells me what race I am, I'm always in first person so it doesn't bother me at all And I download body mods/female armour mods for my follower, just saying xD

  22. I've tried that, tried every console trick I know; startquest, setstage, enablequest, etc
  23. but in the shack you only have to kill them. in this case I am suppose to listen to brynjolf and mercer chat and it doesnt occur, this is my 3rd character i'm attempting it on and still no luck

Ok, I've run into a glitch with every character I try to make. and its really annoying me I complete the quest "taking care of business" and brynjolf tells me to follow him to the thieves guild. I follow and the first problem I notice is that he isnt talking, if I get too close he just turns around and says "hmm?" and when I back off he resumes his route.. Now here's the odd part, I enter the cistern, and brynjolf is just walking ahead of me, according to everyone in there i'm tresspassing, and the scene with mercer does not trigger. whats going on?

    I'm at the point where all the baseline mechanics are just about done, there are some mechanics that require models/animations to work properly and thats whats really slowing me down. How long it will take really depends on how much help I can get, if I get 2 or 3 dedicated helpers, the beta should be out about september
