Nice guide, - thanks, - but East Side of Lava (Calador) does not work on Windows 7 x64 with the Gog version, nor does Polly's Cave (Ticarigua), Beyond The Gate, or Head Mage Skull Cave. - These have been checked with both an XBox gamepad and using the keyboard. Limited clipping is present with the East Side of Lava location, but not at any of the others. The immersion breaking bug also appears to have been fixed in the Gog version.

Nifskope - Removing Stretchy Textures - Any Ideas?
Treehuggery replied to Treehuggery's topic in Morrowind's Troubleshooting
As in the UV within Nifskope, not pre-blend - ? - I had a brief look at that yesterday, but could not make much of it beyond having a box with a widget that I could move, but which otherwise did not appear to make any changes. I have now investigated this further, too, and have found out that because I only have the one NiTriShape I am not going to be able to do what I want without adding further NiTriShapes, so I will leave it as it is and rebuild the whole thing in Blender at some later time ...thanks. -
I've got a problem with a static mesh that I am trying to skin in Nifskope. - The static is a statue with small rocks around the base (all one mesh), and I would like the texture (a nice hi-def photograph of cracked stone saved to .tga format) to make the statue look the same ...only it does not - the image is stretched like clingfilm over the entire statue ...so, I need to know what my options are. For example, could I tile the texture, somehow? ...or is there a way, in Nifskope, of splitting parts of the statue mesh in order to make loads of separate areas with their own texture files, possibly?

Not trying to be funny with you, but drop MGSO. - It has not been updated in a long time, and includes a lot of programs with issues and conflicts. As I said, previously, to another forum member, you need Wrye Mash and MLOX to start with - Use those to get an idea of the problem, re-installing mods and resources where necessary. Also Agent Ransack for finding files and name instances within files; then, once you have finished straightening things out, try searching for GMST in the .esps with AR, clean with GMST Cleaner (does work, but can be awkward to get it working) and be aware that some GMSTs are required and necessary in some .esps. Finally check everything with TESPCD (TES Conflict Detector) and use Morrowind Enchanted Editor to load any files altered by GMST Cleaner or TESPCD in order to eliminate inaccurate record counts. In your case, you will also need Morrowind Script Extender (MWSE) and MGE (the same, but for the graphical side of things), along with the Morrowind Code Patch. All this can be a long and involved process, but is absolutely 100% worth it.

some textures turn darker

This may seem like a daft answer, but does your monitor have auto-contrast (or similar) ...or do you have a mod installed that adjusts the environmental lighting levels? -
Blender-.nif file issue.
Treehuggery replied to Smakis's topic in Morrowind's Construction Set and Modders
Thanks, Dragon32, that is exactly what I was looking for (odd, though, that the site does not appear to be indexed by the major search-engines), and thanks, too, for the invite, RubberMan01; I have taken you up on the invite and will request that script in due course, all being well (I have just returned to modding after a hiatus of around 10 years), so I am currently trying to make sense of around 10Gb+ of files, not to mention the latest changes in everything Elder Scrolls ...and that is just on the Morrowind side of things, nevermind Oblivion and Skyrim... 5 minutes later... edit... no, I won't be requesting G7's script, after all, and I will not be using the site, either, - it utilises one of those Capcha's from Hell and as I use a VPN for security and privacy there is no way, short of hacking the site, that I can circumvent the damn thing, and I am not prepared to spend the required 10 minutes (literally) of clicking cars and signs until the damn thing lets me into the site; so my email address will not be verified and I will not be able to contact them (again, short of playing with the site in a way that will likely get me banned from using it). Sorry, but if designers won't implement features sensibly (and tell Google where to stick its damned Capcha malware), then, personally, I will not be using their sites if I do not need to. -

I have searched for this on the forum and not found something, so please excuse what may seem to be a thread hi-jack. - I have simply used this thread because it is very closely related subject matter and an answer would, therefore (and hopefully) be helpful to anyone looking for answers relating to the original thread subject. Anyway, my question is: what is the situation with nif Nible? - I come across references to this time and time again in readme files, but I have had absolutely no success in finding a copy whatsoever. Has this utility been lost, expunged, assimilated, what - ? If anyone knows, then please enlighten us! -
Leveled Creatures Unpopular?
Treehuggery replied to ProfArmitage's topic in Morrowind's Construction Set and Modders
Use what you like, do what you like. - You're the modder, and the community will soon let it be known if they do not like the end product... Incidentally, there is also a levelled mod feature in Wrye Mash which you can use if you take a liking to levelled lists. - Wrye Mash will import all the levelled lists into it, resolve any conflicts, and the plugin will then, after you activate it, overwrite the levelled lists used by your mods with its own, all-in-one, list from those lists ...only without conflicts (all being well). -
I am browsing the site without problems (save for trying to upload mods - the file upload form is an absolute b*tch), but I have yet to encounter any of these HTTPS pages - are you sure that they are there (or meant to be)? - The browser I am using is Fur Pox (sorry, Firefox) - v46.0.1 (according to the About Firefox box). SSL Shopper seems to think all is OK, though: https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html#hostname=http://www.nexusmods.com
