Oh that makes a lot of sense now. For Skyrim I only learned how to mod outside of Steam Workshop months after release. And for Fallout 4 I only played it on the Xbox. Good to know this is normal for all releases.

Hi everyone, Im slightly discouraged from modding Starfield just yet because of the extra steps required to get mods working, such as the StarfieldCustom.ini step that most mods need. Mainly because of laziness. After watching Gopher's Modding Starfield video he says that the StarfieldCustom.ini should no longer be required after Bethesda release their official modding tools for Starfield, which might take a few months according to mod tool releases for Skyrim and FO4, if anyone has other news? So I just wanted to confirm if all I'm saying sounds correct, or if its wrong and Starfield will be very simple to mod (like Skyrim) very soon, or already?

Ahh! wait!.. ive found it! all i need hep with now, it opens in WinRaR anyway. do i extract to data? there are two files one with winRaR logo then mod name, and a steam logo then mod name. which one do i extract? or should i delete winrar... and whats ESP.. :P

I have looked in computer, program files. no steam. and i have gone on (file) steam, on computer. only comes up quick start-up to steam, and a pointless skyrim folder, with nothing but past attempts of getting mods to work :/

Ok...i am trying to get mods for skyrim, i really dont know anything about computers and i am trying to download mods from this site and a site called A site we've had to banlist because they continue to spam mod authors with advertising links, i have looked at dozens of tutorial videos but none of them make sense to me, For some reason my nexus mod manager keeps crashing when i open it, so im using a program called winRaR, i have never used both of these programs, i know i need to follow the steps on the read-me, but most of the steps are not even on my computer e.g. i cant find DATA, COMMON FILES, and yeah... I would be really great full if someone could explain how to get a mod to work on skyrim, please explain it to me like i am the dumbest human on earth, step by step.
