  1. Hey guys, I'm wondering how to freeze the camera and any other actions from occurring during dialogue with an NPC, similar to Fallout 1 and 2 where dialogue was a separate window. I'd like to freeze the camera in front of the NPC's face to simulate the effect of the first two Fallout games when you meet a 'special' NPC with their own face. In general i'm having issues making a dialogue heavy mod, without voice acting. The awkward long pauses while the NPC speaks, the poorly designed dialogue interface, and the 149 character limit on responses is making it difficult to build a mod with lots of dialogue. Is anyone else working on a similar type of interactive story mod, and has any solutions to these problems?
  2. Hey everyone, I'm looking into improving enemy AI by having enemies make more intelligent decisions based on their surroundings, as well as the player's actions. I am wondering if anyone has made any significant progress in improving this area of the game. So far I can only think to modify and script the AI to work around the area unique to the enemy using creative marker placement and navmeshing, but trying to universally improve the AI in all situations seems to be beyond the capabilities of the Creation Kit. Does anyone have any resources available for understanding enemy AI in more detail, and scripting related to combat scenarios? Is it possible to modify the lower level decision trees the AI uses when making combat decisions? Or do we need to write in scripts that make calls to these procedures in a different way?
  3. I was curious about this also. If I save my Survival character with a few mods installed, will it no longer be 'Survival'? Or do I need to have no mods whatsoever to maintain the Survival setting and the associated trophies?
